Seneca Yates

"At least you'll never be bored," Seneca offered. "It could be interesting to study uses for them." Potential for horrible agonizing death aside, some toxins could be used for medical purposes.

That said, the way they were glowing was a little unnerving. It reminded him a lot of how his synthesia functioned on text so he kept having this nagging feeling that he was supposed to read the mushrooms or something.

==> Allan > Seneca & Seth

For a particular reason, Seneca's words didn't make Allan feel comfortable. He took another sip from his tea cup as he pondered on the mysterious growth. Uses? Mushrooms had many uses. Spice, medicine, or even poison. Medicine would be good. But Allan had never heard of colorful, not to mention glowing, mushrooms to be anything other than toxic.

Turning back to his guests, he shared them a smile, "W-well, I... don't think I can trust glowing objects enough to eat them?" he said, almost hesitantly. "If they're harmless though, I don't mind having a colorful lamp around." Truth be told, Allan found it really nice to have as a decoration --colorful glowing mushrooms that is. A cute nightlight of sorts.

Allan fell into silence while he thought. "...Do you guys feel like eating anything though?" As he asked that, the interior of the tent transformed to something more like a comfy cabin house in the middle of the cool rainforest--furniture, decorations and all. Though he left the mushrooms intact, like a little corner lamp. The pot of tea was now sitting at the table that had suddenly appeared at their center. They also found themselves sitting in a chair.

Allan chuckled inwardly as he found he was getting better at this. "Cake? Biscuits?"

==> Invidia.

This was hell.

Vidia has always know she could feel presences but this was too much. The energy she could feel was overwhelming to the point it scared her. Something wasn't right here and she didn't like it one bit. She had never been that scared in her entire life and she was at that point she just wanted to wake up in her room, back in her hometown. She didn't care if the door would be locked again. As long as she felt like she wasn't cornered.

Taking short gasps of breath, Vidia tried to calm herself. She'd been trying to avoid contact since she realized she was... well, where she is now. Was she dreaming? She couldn't tell. Everything seemed too vivid to be just a dream. She walked past people, through crowds and and individuals she didn't want to involve herself with in that moment. Eventually, an odd tree caught her gaze. She walked closer just from sheer curiosity. She would have ran to touch the mysterious tree but then she realized that near it were masses of energy that intimidated her.

She was already a few meters too close to the group when the realization hit her. As she stepped back, "Ah--!" she fell on her back with a tiny yelp.

Lochlann was now somewhere else.

He must have woken up to drink more and fallen back asleep, because he was no longer riding a door over a land of caramel and chocolate.

Lochlann was sitting back where the apple tree was, still as a horse, and unable to eat the beautiful cheeseburger on the park bench.

"my life is indeed hard," he sighed, for he had no hands.

Coatzin was flying through a blue sky with cotton candy clouds…I’m being serious, the clouds were made of cotton candy here, and though she obviously felt a bit confused she wasn’t going to question this, at least not for now. She couldn’t remember where she was or how she got there at all though. Well, she only had been around these unusual islands for a couple of days and some weird interesting stuff was already happening to her.

These thoughts ran across her head as she flapped her wings, eating a handful of a cloud that she decided to take with her only a few seconds ago. She looked down, spotting some people here and there. She smiled and started to descend, maybe they were friendly?

Seneca Yates

"I'm fine with just tea, thank you." To be perfectly honest, Seneca was trying not to let his thoughts wander off too far, just in case things started to become odd. Odder than spontaneously generated toadstools and collective dreaming, anyways.

Tea was good and simple to focus on. The flavor template wasn't especially complex. Food was a different story and if he started thinking about that, then he would probably end up flooding the newly created cabin. Maybe that was only a personal problem, though. He did tend to overthink things.

"I do wish that there was some way to tell the time," Seneca said absently.

"Time is usually just how you want it in the dream world," Allan stated matter-of-factly. "I like the feeling of daybreak though. Just right where the sky's a starting to brighten up during sunrise," he added while he poured the tea into his cup. The view from the window was exactly so. (It would probably be different if they walk out of the cabin though.)

"U-unless of course, you don't fancy static time patterns. We could adjust that..!" he recovered. Allan picked up his cup and took a sip, "The only problem is that there's not really a way to tell time from the waking world."

Dulce/Lust —> Invidia

A few of the nine that had appeared began wandering off, one saying loudly that someone should start a war, while another quickly began exploring. The first and ninth, however, remained with Dulce, who had begun to gently bounce the little girl in his arms. Her giggles of laughter echoed around them, pausing in curiosity at the girl that had fell.

The baby's inquisitive silence set off the other three, who had turned to face the stranger. "Who are you? I swear, if you're here to take little Yvette--!" Dulce began, scowling at the teen, even though she had to be a year older than him.

"Dulce, pet. Hush." The voice of the first was the softest of murmurs edged with gentle reprimand. Still, Dulce fell silent near immediately, pouting considerably, though the expression lightened as his baby girl patted his cheek with a small, chubby hand.

"I got this one, First." The ninth man said flippantly, walking towards the downed girl until he stood right in front of her. He frowned suddenly, sniffing the air in confusion. "You... smell like one of mine, dearest princess." Here, he shot the girl a look, taking in eyes and hair that nearly mirrored his own.

"Well. How unexpected."

Seneca Yates

He turned a little towards the window, where the sun was frozen during an early sunset. A little more light would have been nice, maybe, but he was hardly going to complain about what was already there. "Please don't trouble yourself over something like that. I don't normally go out very much so what we have here is rather nice, actually."

Setting down his teacup on the table, the man said after a moment of thought, "I'm not sure if doing introductions would be an exercise in futility here or not but for what it's worth, my name is Seneca."

==> Invidia > Dulce/Lust

Vidia froze when she realize her yelp had caught attention of the remaining members of the group. Normally she would have brushed off Dulce's threat but her current predicament made her feel jumpy. Their attention was now on her and she did not like this.

I got this one, First. said one of them. Vidia didn't know what he meant and she didn't know how to react but try and get up and run. Or probably crawl away as her legs didn't feel like cooperating with her. Unfortunately, her entire body didn't want to cooperate with her until the demon was already standing, towering over her. You... smell like one of mine, dearest princess.

"Princess?" What was that about? "I don't know what you're t-talking about." Vidia bit her tongue when she stuttered, wondering why she felt intimidated. But at least, she was finally able to move. She slowly got up and dusted her clothes. Just as she was about to collect herself, the ninth spoke again,

Well. How unexpected.

She looked up at him, half curious, half scared and trying to look unfazed. "What is it now?" she hissed, but her voice faltered.
