Claudius stands at five feet and eleven inches tall, with a slender and slightly feminine build. His hair color is light teal and the length is kept long, typically with a single side braid. His left eye is gold while his right is such a dark shade of navy that it appears black. His pale skin is somewhat sun-kissed. Surprisingly, he tends to tan with grace rather than burn.
His clothing tends to be some combination of white and black with gold trimming. He has a fondness for long, flowing capes.
Personality Description: Claudius would rather not be seen or heard. Though often mistaken for being aloof, he is actually extremely shy. A creature of habit, he sticks to a regular schedule and rarely deviates from it - doing so causes him extreme anxiety. He minimizes his presence in everything that he touches, constantly referring to himself as "this person" instead of "I." Often coming off as blunt, the truth of the matter is the Claudius simply has no people skills to speak of, though he is not a loner by nature. In fact, he enjoys the presence of people so long as they do not directly interact with them. If he got to know people better, he will shed some of this trait but generally speaking, he is wary around everybody.
Often starved for meaningful relationships, Claudius instead loses himself in fiction. He is an avid reader and writer, often found with a pen or book in hand. Nobody should attempt to take any of his belongings from him, as he will have a panic attack. He hates being crowded and can only stand to actually interact with people in small groups. Somewhat agoraphobic, he dislikes going outside and likes small, closed places because he finds them homey.
Passive Abilities: Luck Negation: All abilities that increase or decrease factors such as luck and entropy are negated in Claudius's presence. This power is most powerful within twenty feet of Claudius and loses its potency after a hundred feet.
True Sight: Claudius is able to see other supernaturals for what they are, whether or not they are trying to hide themselves. He can also see them when they are naturally invisible to others.
Biography:
Claudius was born to a rich, influential couple. So rich and influential, in fact, that they often forgot about him in order to pursue higher callings, so great were their positions in life. Growing up somewhat neglected, he learned to fear strangers and keep to himself, often disappearing to his room for days at a time. When he finally had to step out into the world for his schooling, he had what was essentially a prolonged panic attack and spent the next few years walking about in a frightened daze until he was figuratively picked off the streets by kind, passing strangers.
It was in this way that he was introduced to the Merriweather and Curtis families. Recognizing his powers but also his utter lack of skills to survive in the world, the Merriweathers raised him alongside their youngest child, Arlene, who was only a little older than him. The household was harmonious even as they struggled with daughter Loralai's strange, ominous powers. Gradually, Claudius learned to recognize the Merriweathers as family, though he refused to take on any surname because he was afraid of binding himself to other people. Out of all the siblings, it was only Loralai who went to Manta Carlos for her schooling. She came back home for a time and while Claudius was glad to see the family reunited, he was also ready to leave home with her when she decided to return back to the island.
There, he met a passing spirit of summer breezes named Flavia. Though she frightened him at first with her loud, cheerful nature, her persistent inquiries into his life succeeded in getting him to open up to her. He confided in her his fears while she told him of her hope to someday become a major spirit, perhaps even a lesser deity. Her dream was ambitious but as they talked more and more, Claudius could believe that this strong but pure-hearted lady could one day achieve it. Eventually, the two fell in love and had a young child. Soon after, however, Flavia was called away by a prayer. Promising to return soon, she never did, spiriting away their daughter with her.

This is the Legendary Regalia of the Expelled King. Its temperament is nervous and its aspect is peace. It can be partnered with regularly and has additional abilities.
Active Abilities: Luck Manipulation - Claudius has the power to manipulate his own luck as well as the luck of others around him. Though his abilities work the best when inducing bad luck, he has since learned how to harness the power of good luck as well. What his power does is that it takes the chance of something happening and not happening and reverses the numbers. Something that would only occur twenty-five percent of the time would now happen seventy-five percent of the time while something that would normally occur ten percent of the time would be bumped up to ninety. The catch is that something like a coin toss is something he is unable to influence because the chance for heads or tails is already fifty percent. The chance of something happening must be at between one and ninety-nine percent.

Claudius was born Claudius Choróin, older brother to Cornelius Choróin, and firstborn of the king and queen of the Regalia.
