Name : Luke Ochieng Okoth
Age :24 25
Birthday : October 15th
Gender : Male
Nationality : Kenyan
Category : Civilian
Appearance Description : Luke stands at about five feet nine inches tall in height and has an athletic build. He has chocolate colored skin and dark brown eyes that always seem to look sleepy. His nose is sharp and almost beak like. When he smiles, he has dimples. His hair is short and curly dark brown.
Luke normally wears a simple olive colored short sleeved shirt with grey pants. He also usually has a white apron over that, even when he's not working or in the kitchen.
Personality Description : Luke is a weird, weird guy. There's just no getting around that fact. He acts very spacey but rather than it seeming endearing in any way, most people perceive it as just plain creepy. He always appears to be on the edge of things, watching people carefully but it's beyond anybody why. It is deeply unsettling to be at the end of his stares, mostly because it doesn't seem like he's staring at anything in particular. He just is. Constantly.
The inside of Luke's mind is an equally strange place to be. He has a childish nature which often can be quite sweet if you get around the staring part. But that childishness also means that the little he cannot throw off in way of annoyances will often cause him to go into fits. It's an odd combination because intellectually, Luke is quite a bright young man and can be very thoughtful. But he is also very prone to violence if pushed far enough which, as many might find, is not that unreachable of a limit. He is a fairly patient yet impulsive person and holds grudges for a long time. Even if the person at the other end has long since forgotten, Luke will still remember. Many other details are liable to slipping his mind, however.
To sum it all up, Luke is a dreamy, childish young man with a temper, kill count, and bad memory.
Power : Vultureshift - Luke can turn into an adult hooded vulture of average size and ability. When he uses this power, his clothes do not change with him so he often finds a closed place to undress before he shifts. He is capable of partially shifting but it's kind of useless to him. Though he's able to give himself vulture wings while retaining a mostly human body, he is unable to fly unless he transforms his bones into something lighter, which can be painful since he hasn't adapted to making this partial change. He is also able to give himself a vulture's superior hearing and eyesight, the latter of which is eight times greater than a human's. It is rather unsettling to look at, though, and it makes his face hurt.
Birth Place / Hometown : Eldoret, Kenya

Biography : Luke doesn't like to talk about his family much. His father was a normal man but though his mother didn't have powers herself, Rachel was unknowingly the carrier of one due to experiments that had been carried out on her when she was a young girl. This power was then passed onto some but not all of her children and was the ability to shift into various types of birds.
When this ability began to manifest itself in the children, Matthew reported it to the authorities and got a bullet to the head for his troubles when he went to the wrong people. Rachel, who had escaped from the experiments years ago, had been attempting to live in secrecy. The scientists now wanted to recapture her and study her offspring and thanks to Matthew, knew exactly where she could possibly go.
Desperate not to be an experiment number again or let any of her children suffer the same fate, Rachel tried to put each out of their misery. The youngest two died quickly but Sarah made a little too much noise, which prompted John and Luke to see what the matter was. Immediately after having seen Paul die at the hands of their mother, Luke was sent into a rage and attempted to attack her. However, John was caught in the crossfire when he tried to protect his mother. As a result, Luke ended up killing them both.
So the only other surviving child in the family was Ruth, who fled when she saw the massacre that she assumed her now partially feral younger brother had caused in its entirety. Luke himself also left the scene in vulture form, scavenging madly for a few years in the desert until somebody connected to Manta Carlos finally happened upon him. Nobody has any idea what happened to Ruth.
Additional Information : Luke graduated from the Academy only a year ago.
