Appearance Description:

• ~Height from toe to ear: 6’6”. Weight: 196 lbs.
• ~His body overall shares a lot of characteristics with what could you only describe as a twisted version of an anthropomorphic canine.
• ~His head resembles mostly that of a wolf, however, its maw is wider and somewhat bigger.
• ~While when he has his mouth closed the only difference of a regular wolf is his maw, when he smiles he uncovers long and terrible sharp spotless white fangs. His smile is also longer than you would naturally expect, giving him a creepy version of a Cheshire cat smile. His tongue is also long and pointy.
• ~His ears are much like those a jackal, if not slightly longer.
• ~He has a line of fur that starts on the top of his head like a Mohawk and goes down all the way until the tip of his tail
• ~His eyes have a dark sclera with neon blue iris. On the center of his iris he has a weird black star spiral as a pupil that you can swear never stops spinning, even if just slowly. Also his eyes always give an insanity glint that it’s impossible to ignore.
• ~His hands a feet resemble paws more than anything else, though his hands are just as good as any human’s to grab things…it must be noted that these are considerably bigger and consequently grab small things can be an actual challenge at times. Each hand/feet/paw has exactly four fingers, each one of these with a long and sharp claw at the end.
• ~His claws are semi-retractable, and while he will always have some portion of the claw sticking out, when he unsheathes them its obviously when those are the most dangerous. He can use these claws to slash or even stab other creatures.
• ~His legs and feet/hind paws are digitigrade.
• ~He has a kangaroo-like tail. While not exactly flexible it is quite strong, so a hit from it can cause at least some damage.
• ~From the top of his head, two antennae-like…tings…are born which he can control at will and even can extend or retract if needed, though not more than 2 meters. At the end of the left one he has an input plug-in and in the right one an output one.
• ~His fur color is primarily pitch black. He has three neon blue rings on his ears, three on his ankles, three on his wrists, five on his tail and tree on his waist. He has three neon blue stripes on the sides of his face and two on top of his muzzle.
• ~His line of fur/Mohawk, nose, pawpads, claws, tongue and insides are neon blue as well.
• ~He has a big speaker located on his chest, also neon blue.
• ~Everything that’s neon blue on his body, including his eyes, glow intensely on the dark. However, he can control this and if he wants he can “turn them off”, which h will cause their color to change into plain black, or even arrange patterns of glow and such. It really comes in handy for parties.
• ~His speaker is fully functional. How is this possible, nobody knows. Part of being a music demon, probably.
• ~His voice is heavily robotic.
• ~His flesh, organs, etc are of the same neon blue coloration and share the glowing in the dark/turn off properties.
• ~His blood is also neon blue, just slightly lighter, and really gooey. Just like if it was made of caramel.
• ~His bones are of a darker neon blue.

Personality Description:

• ~Party Animal: For him life is a constant party and gets bored or even grumpy if he spends too long without throwing one of his beloved parties. The louder, wilder and bigger the party the better.
• ~Reckless: He doesn’t care about the risks that may be on his way, if he can get something he likes out of a certain situation he will go for it without hesitation.
• ~Lack of respect for the authority: To the point of making fun of them and even humiliating them if he has the chance, Poprock is definitely a headache for anyone that tries to ever control him or tries to be above him in any way.
• ~Freedom: He loves his freedom to do whatever he wants, wherever he wants, whenever he wants. If anyone wants to order him around they will have a tough time trying to get him to listen, and if persistent they will get blown away with a sound blast so they leave him alone. He also respects the freedom of the rest of the people around them, and can be easily annoyed if he seems a guy trying to order around another one when he clearly doesn’t wants to do whatever it’s being asked from him. It isn’t uncommon for him to get involved in these situations to tell the one trying to order the other one around to scram.
• ~Skip class: He probably came to Manta Carlos through the Starlight Academy letter…but in all honesty he can’t care less. If he ever feels like going to school he would, if he thinks it’s too boring he will simply walk out of the classroom or simply not attend at all. The only class that is the exception is music class, as he loves that one.
• ~Bottomless stomach: He can eat A LOT and still keep eating, and if you add to that the booze he will be as happy as he can be. No wonder why the first place he attacks when going to a party are the snacks.
• ~Buddy: If you ever manage to get on his good side he will become your buddy, and though it can bring you a ton of trouble thanks to his overall personality you can always expect him to be there for you if you need him. Just…keep in mind he’s not going to jump in front of a bullet for you.
• ~Determined: He never gives up, and once his mind is set on something he will stop at nothing to achieve it. No matter how big or how small that something may be.
• ~Creative: This comes as obvious if you ever attend to one of his parties. His parties are original like no other and there is always something interesting to look at or something fun to do. He never disappoints.
• ~Unreliable: If you want someone who will keep your secrets, who will always stand up for you, who will always comply with what he promises….Poprock is NOT your guy. He is known for sharing secrets around without a care on the world, put himself before anyone else and break promises left and right if it can benefit him in any way.
• ~DJ: He is quite a talented DJ, to the point where he could give professionals a run for their money without even trying. There is a reason he always finds a place to throw his insane parties, you know???

Species Abilities:

Music demon:

• ~He has a fully functional speaker on his body that he can use to produce all kinds of sounds or music itself. It must be pointed out that all of his Music Demon powers and abilities come from this speaker and if damaged in any way he won't be able to use them anymore. For some reason the speaker doesn't heals on its own nor regenerates, so he NEEDS to look for someone to repair it.
• ~He can control the glow of his neon colored body parts, turning them on, off or giving them patterns. Usually these go on rhythm with the music he’s playing through his speaker. This has no other effect than look cool, however, or hide in really dark places.
• ~When he starts playing music he gives off a “Party Aura”, which causes those able to hear his music to want to dance. When first entering within the range of the party aura it does absolutely nothing but enhance the willingness of those around him to dance and desire to party. However, the longer you stay within it the more effective it will be, and if exposed to it constantly for 45 minutes or more may even make you forget about responsibilities, family or anything that isn't becoming a wild party animal, the effects last until he stops. Be warned though, if anyone links parties with drugs, alcohol or any other kinds of this they will become extremely prone to fall on these and even overdose. However, this is something that no music demon can control and is completely up to those affected by the aura. It must be noted that depending on the environment and how long have you been affected by it, the harder it is to break free from his party aura, as it is directly related to his chest speaker (He can enhance the sound through the use of external speakers, out only his chest speaker can give out the Party Aura). In a fully open environment, his Party Aura has a maximum reach of around 300 ft in a radius around him (Aka. 600 ft from one side to the other, reason why he prefers to always be in the center of the party), however, it’s only within the first 80 ft from him that the effect is complete, and it starts to dilute the farther back you are from him, obstacles can affect this range, people counting as such, however, reducing this radius up to a maximum of 150 ft with full effect of 50 ft. In a closed environment (Such as a house or a club) the Party Aura will envelope the whole space and will be at full power at all times, however, as soon as you step outside the effect will stop instantly. The closest you are to him or the strongest his power is, the hardest it is to get away, covering your ears isn’t enough, so you need to immediately start moving away, or block the noise through other sources such as headphones at full volume…if they have a strong enough volume. The next side to getting away is how long have you been under the influence. Someone under 10 minutes of influence can walk away as freely as if they had never been there, but the longer you stay the harder it is to leave not because of any power of attraction, but because you start not wanting to leave. If you were around for 45 minutes or more, however, it’s a lost cause, you’re going to party until Poprock’s music stops. He, funny enough, is not free from being affected by his same aura, and can go crazy in a party just like anyone else, so it can be easily used against him if you know how. While there won't be any effects during the party, once he considers it finished a sudden tiredness and hang over-like effects will overcome him, preventing him from using his speaker (And consequently any music demon powers and abilities) for at least 24 hours. The Party Aura has absolutely no effect on deaf/temporarily deaf creatures.
• ~The input/output part of the antennae on his head can change shape at will. Through this antennae he can connect to electronic devices. First he will memorize the music (His “Music Memory” is unlimited, so he could have all the songs in this universe and still have room for more), and once he knows the song he will be able to either download it on other devices or play it with his speaker.He can't control any devices through this method, though, so don't expect him to hack or manipulate machinery with it. While he is either absorbing or downloading info he is completely immobile, as he can’t focus on anything else, and in consequently left completely defenseless until he is done.
• ~He is ageless, however he can keep “growing old” for as long as he wants until he’s fine with his current age. He can’t, however, go back in time if he decides he liked a younger version of himself instead.

Candy Demon

• ~He can literally split his body in several parts without any pain, like if an invisible knife had cut him to bits. Like if hold by a magnetic field these parts will keep moving as if they were attached to the body, though any creature can take away one or many of these pieces without issue. This is usually a rather messy process, as his “caramel” blood will start to flow from the separated in what appears to be infinite amounts. He can also "reatach" into a whole form again later on, though those parts his body was dismembered on its accounted as a wound and he needs to wait until the “wound” heals, attaching his body back together (Since this kind of “wound” was caused by the power itself it only takes him up to a full minute at max to fully reattach his body parts). Unluckily for him, this can easily be used against him, as if anyone manages to pull a limb apart from his body and doesn’t let go it won’t levitate back to its place, and if destroyed he’ll also need to regrow it (If, per say, his thigh is destroyed, his whole leg will need to be reformed, as there is nothing to reattach the rest of the leg to the body), also the more dismembered he is and the farther away the pieces of his body the less control he has over them, what makes thing unpredictable even to him…or worse, if far enough they’ll fall to the ground, lifeless, and if he doesn’t reattaches it in the next 5 minutes he’ll lose that body part. Dismembering a Candy demon and preventing them to reattach is the easiest way to reach their core and kill them permanently.
• ~He lacks any kind of sensitivity to physical pain overall, and instead he may feel all kinds of other sensations that can go from weird indescribable sensations to actual pleasure. This can obviously bring him trouble, as he can start to ignore it, becoming even more reckless as he wouldn't be affraid of getting hurt, or even look for it if he finds it pleasurable enough. Lack of pain also can be a huge risk, as it doesn’t lets us know when we go over our limits or when our body isn’t feeling well. The number times Poprock has fallen severely ill, was unaware of an awful injury that lead him to faint or nearly die, or flies over his limits to the point where his body almost literally “shuts down” and needs to be immediately hospitalized because of this is raising quickly in short amounts of time. Being a Candy Demon doesn’t makes you immune to the world around you even if he thinks it does.
• ~While he lost the ability to feel pain, he earned a new kind of sickness. This sickness is known as the candy hangover and is unique to the Candy Demons. This kind of sickness always, and I mean ALWAYS happens when a Candy Demon uses their abilities. When they use the split apart ability and finally reattach a head-splitting headache mixed with strong feeling of nausea, weakness and dizziness overcomes the demon, to the point where they are left basically defenseless until they recover from it, which is directly proportional to the time they spent dismembered (2 hours using the ability = 2 hours of agony caused by this sickness), not even the worst hangover a mortal can ever have can be even compared to this one, and there is no medicine to cure or even ease the effects of it and will never be. When recovering they feel a way watered down version of this sickness constantly until they are fully healed again.

Powers:

Music demon:

• ~Through the use of sound waves in very specific frequencies he can go from causing pleasure to a being to actually paralyze them, make them feel pain or go to the extent of make them deaf (This attack has a maximum range of 20 ft radius). Unluckily, if someone manages to reflect the soundwaves at him he will be affected by his own attack just as much (Luckily he doesn't goes deaf forever, though not being able to hear severely messes up his Music demon abilities and powers to the point of rendering them almost useless). Covering your ears or use any other way to block the sound is another effective way to either weaken or become immune to this attack. The attack has has absolutely no effect on deaf/temporarily deaf creatures.
• ~Through concentrated sound waves that are freed on a split second, he can create a strong sound blast. This blast can throw away nearby people (Up to 5 meters away from him) as well to render them deaf for a short period of time and tamper with their balance given the damage done to their ears for just as long. People on slightly farther distances (Up to 15 meters) may only be pushed away and hear a ringing noise on their ears for a couple seconds. People even farther (30 meters) will only feel a mild impact and hear a loud noise, like a thunder. If you’re away from any of these three ranges you will simply need to deal with the loud noise. After using this ability he needs to rest for at least 20 minutes before using it again, besides charging power for it afterwards. It takes him 5 minutes to gather enough power, time in which he can’t use any other of his powers. He tries to not use this ability more than two, or three times at most, as using it 3 times starts to screw up his speaker, which makes his abilities way weaker and less precise (Half regular power). Using it a 4[sup]th[/sup] time will inevitably blow up his speaker though, and he would need to seek for someone to repair it as soon as possible.
• ~If anyone has been affected for his Party Aura for at least a full hour without interruption, he will be able to start to cause them illusions. These illusions are like being very VERY high, and lack coherency or mostly any kind of actual sense. During a party this can help a lot to lift the mood of his party animals, though for those that somehow are affected by these illusions but aren’t partying this can be quite a scary and confusing experience. Under the effects of his own party aura at this point he goes completely crazy, even using his candy demon powers to make things even weirder. Usually he is so lost in these situations that somebody could be approaching him with a bazooka pointed at his head and he wouldn’t even notice. If he only stops is because his limit has been reached or surpassed, one of the reasons why he either sleeps away the whole next day or is so tired.

Candy Demon:

• ~He has a physical soul that manifests as a glowing neon blue orb inside his body, also known as “core”. Given the original location of his soul before becoming a candy demon it is located inside the speaker on his chest. As long as the soul remains unharmed he is able to regenerate any lost parts of his body, heal nearly instantly from injuries (Cuts, stabs, burns, etc) and, if split, have parts of his body that were taken away from him levitate back to their place like if nothing had ever happened as long as they aren't beyond his 300 ft radius of power (If he loses a body part, he needs to regrow those body parts, what can take from some minutes, like a finger, to up to three days, like a full leg, to grow back). However, if the sphere was ever to be taken away from him he would become the closest thing to a slave in an attempt to get it back, as if it is destroyed he will die instantly. His chest, exactly in the area of the speaker, is the only one that can’t split apart as a defense for the core, however, while he is dismembered his speaker will always have a constant glow, what makes it easy to locate the core to those that know the meaning behind that specific kind of glow.
• ~A candy demon is…well…100% edible, and not only by standard definitions. His entire body can be eaten raw or cooked and he won’t really mind most of the time, and there is a reason as of why this kind of demons are so sought after in the food industry. Their “flavor” isn’t a specific one. Any meal made out from them will immediately take the favorite flavor of what the one eating craves and desires even if they don’t know it themselves. Even licking his fur is enough to get a taste of him. They want some meat? They will get their absolute favorite kind! Strawberries? The freshest and if they unknowingly wanted them dipped in chocolate they will feel the chocolate in their mouths as well! This can go from anything and everything, from meals to pastries, from veggies to alcoholic drinks. Unluckily this makes him have to be on the constant run, as even if he can regenerate it takes time and there only so much he can give, and there is rumors that the core of a candy demon is the rarest and most valuable delicacy. You can guess why he’s not a fan of the idea of being caught by any restaurant that knows about these facts. Also it should be pointed out that while he may make an "amazing meal", his body has nearly no nutritional value overall...While he tries to hide his candy demon side when in crowded areas to avoid detection or being hunted down, when bored or hungry he can’t help but place the tip of his own tail inside his mouth to either suck or chew on it, not able to resist his very own candy demon taste properties.
• ~There is an awfully heated debate on whether Candy Demons are or not actual drug demons instead. The reason is quite simple. While the body of a candy demon alone is not in any way a drug, if cooked in certain ways it can indeed become a kind of strong drug that retains the favor properties of the non-altered way, as well as the preference property as it gives the one using it exactly the kind of high they desire. Drug dealers will immediately sell this kind of drug alone at quite high prices thanks to its rarity or, more often, mix it with other kinds of drugs at it not only gives them the flavor properties, but also enhances their effects by a great amount without adding secondary effects. There are even certain rumors about a certain body part or fluid working better with certain drugs, though its veracity is questionable. Candy demons are especially susceptible to drugs made with their own bodies or those of other candy demons, making them get high and basically defenseless even with the smallest amounts.

Biography:

Poprock can’t remember his original name, but he was sure he had one…oh, whatever.

He was originally a pure Music Demon, since he can remember he had always been the soul of the party, and wherever there wasn’t a party he appeared to make it happen. He really didn’t care about potential disasters, accidents, law breaking risks….or anything in all honesty…does he even care now though?

His life has been a constant tale of him traveling across the globe to have a good time wherever he pleases. Rarely bound to any place for long it isn’t unusual for him to leave without saying goodbye or dropping in without warning one day. He really couldn’t care less about what the world around thinks about him or if they ever get affected by his actions, as long as he can be in a good wild party he’s happy. He even got some extra fun on dragging authority figures to the party and making fun of them as they join the party when they were supposed to stop it. Needless to say he hadn't faced any consequence for his actions so far and this caused his disrespect for authority. It is true that as he grew up some of his likes chsnged or discovered new ones, such as booze and females, though his passion always stayed the same…until barely one year ago.

He is partially to blame, as it was a mix of his party aura effects, the illusions and the way part of his crowd had to celebrate. He can’t really remember much of the event, but he can remember the weird half-screwed up ritual the mysterious people did right in front of the DJ table he was using (Its funny that mortals usually don’t remember the huge demon in the DJ table after a wild party or just shrug it off as a side-effect of the booze). A small multicolored, sparkly ball of light appeared in front of him and…it flew into his chest? Whatever the thing did, it caused him to black out and wake up the next day without the usual awful hangover that assaulted him after the parties and…his body completely dismembered and in a pool of sticky neon blue blood that kept flowing from him.

At first he panicked, not knowing what the hell was going on, it took him quite a while to calm down and slowly figure things out. Knowing that one day you were a pure Music Demon to be a weird mix between a Music Demon and a Candy Demon the next isn’t something that can be just shrugged off. On a better note, he found some fun on his powers and is clearly grateful for the regenerating ability that the new half he had gave to him, though it took him quite a while to get used to them. It was also at this time he started to call himself "Poprock", not able to remember his original name.

When he received his letter for Starlight Academy he didn’t really arrived with the intention to study and master his powers, but with the intention to throw parties and have a good time with creatures that nearly never attended his previous parties.
