Evangeline can't remember how or when she was created, it has been way too long since that day. She was trained by other angels to wield the holly sword that was given to her, but she needed almost no training for the rest of her powers, she was a natural.
Sooner than later she was sent to Earth where she started to purify the souls of any mortal that she crossed paths with, forming friendship bonds with them fairly often. However, she always tried to not get too close to any of them, knowing that she would end up outliving them...or worse, that she could fell in love if she wasn't careful.
She witnessed kingdoms, empires and countries rise and fall for several years, and during those years she also crossed paths with her most lethal enemies a bit more often than she would like to admit, the demons. She still remembers when she almost didn't made it alive after an especially powerful demon started to chase her, infuriated because she purified the mortal that he was targeting, consequently spoiling his work completely.
If it wasn't because she somehow found a group of warrior angels while flying away from him that would had been her end. Since that day she's especially scared of demons of all kinds, avoiding them as much as possible.
Around the Middle Ages her superiors finally acceded to give her the side-job of restorer angel, giving her the powers of one almost immediately...though she obviously wasn't expecting the small downside that came with the job. She now had to seek for demons instead of avoiding them, thing that terrified her. However, she had to swallow her fear and do her job, and she prepared herself mentally for that.
She came to Manta Carlos after she received a direct order from her superiors. Apparently several demons were spotted around said aura, and consequently they wanted to have a purifier and a restorer around to help out the mortals of said place.

She currently owns three pets, two dogs and a cat. All of them were rescued. She had more pets on her past, but the rest died of old age already.
The older one is a medium-sized dog named Arthur. He's around his 10 years and has long golden fur with some brown spots and white muzzle, chest and belly. His right eye is missing. He's really calm and loves to lay down at Evangeline's feet when she's at home. He also likes tea for a reason that she never could fully understand. She found him with her companions when working as a volunteer on an animal rescue association. The poor thing was thin as a rake, chained to a wall and the right eye of his face was awfully scarred. After rescuing the dog none waned to take him in while he recovered, reason why she immediately did so. She looked how he recovered from his previous awful state and became the gorgeous dog that is now. When she had to return it to the association so they could seek a home for him she simply couldn't and ended up adopting him.
The next one is a small dog named Mimi. She is around her 5 years, but acts like if she's still a puppy. She loves to play fetch, Frisbee and tag with Evangeline and the other pets. She found her taking shelter inside of a cardboard box in an alleyway during a storm. She picked up the poor soaked dog, taking off her own jacket and wrapping it around her, and took her to her home.
The youngest one is the cat, a kitten that she named Lucky. He is still around his 5 months of age. She found him inside a plastic back with his brothers and sisters, obviously abandoned to die. He took them all immediately to the nearest veterinary clinic, the rest of the litter was successfully saved, but he was thought to be dead. Evangeline grabbed him gently, obviously heartbroken, and to the surprise of everyone in the room, herself included, it started to meow. As soon as he recovered she adopted him as well.

- ~Help first, ask questions later: If she sees any living creature in trouble she'll immediately rush to help, regardless of the situation or how dangerous it can be. She had been tricked into traps with this method more times than she would like to admit, but she can't help it.
- ~Wise: She has a lot of knowledge on her side thanks to all her years of experience, she may look naive and way too innocent most of the time, but there is a serious side to her that surfaces when she really needs it.
- ~Selfless: She rarely thinks of her own needs or what she wants, instead she's constantly trying to help the ones around her.
- ~Purifier: She's constantly seeking for mortals that need help, the more help the mortal needs, the more she'll feel attracted to him/her. She knows when to be direct and when to be discreet, not all mortals want to accept that they need help, and so she needs to be careful and act as discreetly as possible. Her job is to purify the souls of mortals, lead them back to the path that they were supposed to walk and help them to have better lives from then on and avoid relapses.
- ~Restorer: Definitely the harder part of her job, since she's a purifier angel and not a restorer she doesn't focus as much in this one, but she took the side-job for a reason, she wants to help even more than just purifying souls. If she finds someone that lost their soul to a demon, it's her job to try to get it back and fully restore it before returning it to the mortal. Doing it is extremely hard, especially if the mortal lost it in a contract, but angels can be just as tricky as demons.
- ~Animal lover: She simply loves animals, regardless of the species. She can be found working as a volunteer in many shelters or animal rescue societies fairly often.
- ~Afraid of love: She knows of a lot of angels that became fallen angels because they fell in love with a mortal. Consequently she is extremely afraid of falling in love.
- ~Demons: Thanks to her job and abilities, demons are constantly trying to track her down and get rid of her for good. The rarity of her kind is both a blessing and a curse for them. With almost no purifiers in existence it's obvious that their soul gathering job is somewhat safe, but at the same time that makes it extremely hard for them to find them at all. She's terrified of demons, since even if her species' abilities are a huge threat to them, she isn't that much of a threat herself and consequently she usually is forced to flee for her dear life if she finds any of them.

- ~Being one of the weakest kind of angels offensively, the resistance they were granted by their lord when they were created has proven to be an incredibly huge help.
- ~Immune to most poisons and venoms, however, there are some specific kinds that though can't kill them, will definitely make them feel weak or even get severely ill until their body gets rid of them. Most of these are actually potions made specifically to poison them and are extremely hard to find.
- ~Immune to most kinds of alcohol and drugs. Angels rarely drink or do drugs anyways. There are rumors of some kinds of liquor and drugs from other dimensions or made by demons themselves that are able to still kick in, avoiding the immunity completely.
- ~Resistant to most kinds of magic, but not immune. Magic will still harm her to some extent, there are some specific spells that they can't resist and will cause a massive amount of damage, all of them belonging to the forbidden area of magic that only really powerful dark mages or demons can master.
- ~Fast healing. She can heal fairly quickly from most wounds, but she will still feel the pain and serious injuries will need up to one week to heal. Injuries caused by cursed/demonic weapons or very specific magic won't heal as quickly, they will heal at the speed that a common human would heal one of said wounds.
- ~Mentally resistant. Recently added after demons and even some mortals started to find ways to enslave other creatures, angels included, through the use of mental powers. However, since she still doesn't knows how to fully control his specific resistance, skilled creatures with these kinds of powers will be able to break through it after some effort.
- ~Immortality: She's immortal, and if "killed" she will just be sent back to heaven until she recovers from her wounds. However, if stabbed through the heart with a cursed/demonic weapon, she will die for good.
- ~Purifying aura: Just being near her is enough for the ones around to feel an unusual calm and joy. Her aura alone is enough to start purifying the soul of the ones that need it, though only slightly. If the creature opens to her, her aura will start to work a lot more effectively and mix itself with the creature's, the more time spent around her makes the purification process a lot quicker and easier. The pleasant relaxing feeling makes almost any mortal creature want to be around the purifier angels, which can be a bit troublesome from time to time for obvious reasons. The aura works on demons as well, but unluckily for the angel it also gives them away instantly. They can hide the aura when trying to escape, but they can only do so for a small amount of time (1 or 2 posts, depending on the post length).
- ~Soul Recovery: Through this ability she can forcefully recover a soul stolen by a demon, regardless of how the demon got it in the very first place. Souls stolen by temptation are the easiest to recover, with souls stolen via contract being the hardest. However, recovering the soul isn't always guaranteed and depending on how it was stolen on the very first place it gives the probability of doing so, most times the angel needs to try several times before doing it. Recovering the soul is also extremely risky, since the angel needs to be at least one meter away from the demon that stole it, though for the recovery to have the highest probabilities of success the angels needs to have direct contact with the demon, what often leads to the angel's death. If the recovery was successful the demon will immediately know it, that's when the angel has to run with the soul, since it is vulnerable and the demon can take it back if the angel doesn't manages to keep it out of the demon's range. Also let's be honest here, demons don't fall twice for the same trick and get extremely enraged when a soul that they stole gets recovered, so trying to get it back once more or recover another soul can be almost impossible and probably lethal. This only works if the mortal that originally owned the soul is still alive, recovering souls from dead creatures is impossible.
- ~Soul Restoration: After a soul has been successfully recovered it must be restored. This is a long process that takes a lot of energy from the angel doing so. The angel must lock her/himself on a safe location and focus only on that for a whole week, in which she/he will be completely vulnerable. After the restoration the soul can be sent back to its owner. After this the angel is forced to stay around the mortal for at least a whole year to protect him/her. It isn’t unusual for demons to come back looking for the soul that they lost after all.
- ~Healing touch: From common wounds to addictions, purifier angels can heal mortals from any injure or disease as long as it wasn't inflicted by a cursed/demon weapon or the addiction is towards a demonic substance. This drains the energy from the angel and consequently they need to do this gradually. They can't bring anyone back from the dead though.
- ~Holly Blessing: After a purifier angel purifies a soul successfully, they give their blessing to the mortal. This usually gives a nice boost to their luck and gives a small protection towards evil creatures (Demons not included, they're just way too powerful). The mortals can summon the angel whenever they need her/him for a whole year. This has proven to work wonders to avoid relapses most of the time.
