Josuke wasn't the type of person to show up to these kind of events (or very near anything, really), yet here he was, roasting a marshmallow in the bonfire he and his brother Kenshin helped to create and maintain. His brother, being the social guy he was, jumped at the chance to attend, and naturally he felt he needed to drag Josuke along as well. Which his parents encouraged. As soon as they arrived, Kenshin was already off talking with people. Josuke lied that he'd catch up in a little bit, but from the looks of things Kenshin wouldn't mind if he postponed their meeting a while longer. With a shrug, he took a bite out of the freshly roasted marshmallow. He liked the relaxing atmosphere of this place, at least.
After a few moments, he had eaten the last of his marshmallow. He glanced over his surroundings for any sign of his brother, but found a really tall guy instead, probably tending to the fire or something. He seemed interesting enough, if only for his obvious height. Plus, the risk of getting pulled into a larger crowd by Kenshin would lessen if he talked with another person, which he preferred over a crowd any day. With that, he approached the man that towered over him.
"Hey."
