Appearance Description: Rhu is a fluffy, spotted example of a magical mutt. A multigenerational mutt that probably involved a number of shapeshifters who really messed with species. Rhu is the result. He mostly looks like an anthropomorphic sheep, with tints of demon (there's a bit of unsheeply red to his horns, and his eyes are more gold than brown), unidentifiable humanoids, and the occasional oddity that could come from, well, just about anything.
Apparently done growing but only a majestic five feet and six inches with his ears down, Rhu has a crop of super-fluffy wooly hair that is primarily white (or off white, depending on how recently he's brushed it), with a few palm-sized patches of black (or faded black, depending on how long it's been in the sun since the last cut). More immediately notable, though, would be his horns (big, impressive, curving ram horns, thank you very much, even if the right one is reddish-black and the left one is reddish-white) and his ears (very much sheep ears, but at least they're upright ones; the right ear is brown and the left is white with a brown tip and black streak down the outside edge).
Rhu adores fluffiness and cute things, and will squee over them like people squee over cute lambs. As such, all of his t-shirts depict cute things and all of his hoodies are fleece-lined or otherwise soft. He also has lots of scarves. NONE OF THEM ARE FROM HIS OWN WOOL, OKAY.
Personality Description: Unpredictable parts adorable and totally maturely guilty of the things he inevitably gets blamed with, Rhu is excitable, distractible, and will throw himself in harm's way to protect cute innocent things. Which apparently includes cars. And other inanimate objects that get relentlessly used by people, often with no care for their wellbeing.
He also feels, on some number of levels, that if he's going to get blamed for everything, he might as well do some of the stuff he gets blamed for. Like stealing and cheating. Hey, cheating on stuff got him through high school, didn't it? So it's clearly not so bad. Now he's an Adult and gets to legally do Adult Things.
Just don't make him Adult in any real sense, or you may end up with a petulant puddle of fluff.
Powers: Scapegoat
People like blaming people. In Rhu's case, this natural tendency is magically exaggerated, and he just automatically seems like the most suspicious person around even if there is literally someone with bloody hands in plain sight. Seriously, how could you not suspect someone so cute and fluffy?
Poor kid. If he's around at the scene of a crime or accident, he just gets saddled with the blame quicker than the snap of a pair of snap-practiced fingers.
Escape Artist
A much-practiced ability, for survival's sake if nothing else, Rhu possesses location-based magic that allows him to skip forward and change direction instantly. He can pass through objects this way, though he'd better be damn sure there's space for him on the other side (he can move a maximum of three metres per skip). Changing direction is also useful, especially when paired with his horns and native ramming ability. Or at least his apparent ramming ability. Headbutting things hurts. Just, you know, his neck and not his head.
Biography: Rhu is an islander, and in some ways represents its diversity. Not financially, of course, but then again he did go straight from high school to working in an animal shelter, where he gets to play with widdle fwuffy things all day. He's actually the official Socializer for feral puppies and kittens and very much has a thing for cute things with poor social skills.
