Brief History: (Because if I had to type up everything on this character it would take me forever to do T.T )
Rory began life as a normal human boy born to two poor but loving parents. They were a happy family and when his sister was born he was thrilled to have a sibling but as she got older she wasn't happy to have one and wanted all the attention for herself. The girl, without knowing she could, put Rory in to a concentrated illusion that drew one of his worst memories to mind and made him relive it. When he reacted his parents thought that he was mentally ill and sent him off to be treated. Unfortunately for him the two men that came to pick him up, in their nice clean white coats, thought he would have better uses than to rot away in an asylum.
The two men took Rory to a psion and had him rewired to operate 'normally'. Once that task was complete they sold the boy into slavery where he was , much to everyone's surprise, good at it and quickly earned his keep and paid off his debts. Along the way he managed to marry, adopt children and lead a mostly happy and monogamous life until one of his children had a blood lust attack. Rory, thinking quickly, used the last of the magic in his blood to heal the victim that his daughter attacked but bled out and died in the process.
Due to his good standing with the Goddess of the realm he made a deal that if he was resurrected it would be back to his original age and form when he first arrived and he would leave the realm peacefully, never to return again. He agreed to the terms and was sent away. Left destitute with nothing to his name Rory was accepted to the Starlight Academy where he would learn to deal with the haunting memories of his past life and the powers he possessed in the present as both parts of himself would shape a completely different future for him.

*The reading of one's mind and speaking directly in to it via words or even pictures - Rory can only connect with one person at a time with this power currently but would like to learn more.
-Wants to learn how to build a one or two way bond that allows speaking back and forth with one or more individuals (This is something that has not yet been developed IC but I would like to work on.)
2. Empathy-
*The feeling/reading of emotions - Rory can only currently read the surface emotions of one person at a time but will easily become overwhelmed if he attempts to work this power in an area with a large amount of people.
