Appearance Description:
Takeo stands at about 5'9", weighing a whopping 175 pounds of dense muscle. He is of Japanese descent, with tanned skin and wild and unkempt brown hair whose direction changes on a whim almost irregardless of what he actually wants to do with it. His eyes are very angular, with sporting brown eyes with narrow black pupils.

In very blunt terms, Takeo has what can only be described as a "resting bitch face". When he isn't thinking about anything, his face seems to settle into a scowl that's frightening given what the rest of him looks like. In these situation, his face compliments his height and bulk, creating an image of someone rugged and almost thug-like.

He tends to prefer function over form when it comes to clothing, usually wearing some variation of jeans and a T-shirt. He will sometimes add jackets or wear shorts instead a jeans. Sometimes wears short-sleeves shirts, but that's reserved for fighting.

Personality Description: At his core, World's Strongest Takashi Takeo is incredibly simple and earnest. He doesn't plan ahead, he doesn't strategize, and he doesn't know how to deal with most problems in ways that don't require him to attack them. For situations outside of something that can be solved with a good, honest punch in the stomach or round-house kick to the face, he's almost completely lost.

This could be the main reason why he has no decided major yet. Because he's terrible at anything that doesn't have fighting or physical athleticism as a prerequisite, he has failed most of the classes he's taken, probably leaving him to stay in college until he dies of old age, and is no longer the World's Strongest.

Due to his earnest and easy to anger nature, he doesn't have a ton of friends. In general though, he doesn't like being angry. While he does think that fighting is a good way to get out stress and anxieties, he doesn't like to hurt people, and sometimes it seems that he abhors fighting altogether, which often leaves him feeling conflicted.

Takeo is remarkably easy to confuse.

Powers:

[Ability Learning]
World's Strongest Takashi Takeo has the power to learn an any ability (innate power) or skill (acquired ability) that he sees, with certain limitations:
  • He cannot learn an ability or skill that he hasn't seen: This is self-explanatory. In order to learn an ability or skill at all, he needs to have at least partial sight to it being used.
  • He cannot learn an ability that relies on traits he does not possess: To use a character I have already made as an example, The Shadow has the ability to turn into gaseous substances. However, this power is entirely dependent on the fact that The Shadow already has a gaseous body. Because Takeo does not have a gaseous body, he would be unable to learn to do something like this. Another example would be someone who uses wings to fly. Because Takeo does not have wings, he would be unable to learn to fly.
  • He cannot learn skills that are more mental than physical: A skill would be something that a character is not born knowing how to do, like Sid's knowledge of potions and chemistry, or Wei's abilities at staff combat. In terms of this rule, he would be unable to learn Sid's chemistry aptitude (which he would see as a random mixing of chemicals), but would be able to learn Wei's staff aptitude.
  • He cannot learn skills that he can't understand: Simply speaking, in order for him to learn an attack or skill he must, upon seeing it, understand the simple cause-effect relationship between the actions of a person and the result. An example would be if he saw someone say a magic word, and with wave of their hands cause fire to appear. Upon seeing this, he would be able to understand that:

Magic Words + Motion = Fire

And would therefore be able to replicate it. However, in the case of a power that has minimal-to-no vocalization or movement, he would be unable to make this connection. Powers that involve simple contact or are purely mental (such as psychic-based levitation, or contact-based energy draining) is outside his cause-effect reasoning, and cannot be copied. He can only copy powers if he can see and understand the action and its ramifications on a macro, physical level.
  • He can learn, but not master, a skill on sight: Upon seeing a move in action, he is learning the one specific move that he sees. Seeing someone shape-shift into a dog leaves him with the ability to shape-shift into various flavors of dog (dachshund, shiba inu, husky), but ultimately he is only learning how to shape-shift into a dog. Seeing someone shift into a dog doesn't give him the ability to shape-shift into dragons, snakes, or even a cat. Only a dog.
  • He can only remember 3 different moves at once: Takeo doesn't have infinite head space, and even if he did, holding on to every move he sees would make it difficult to remember how to use the one he actually wants in a pinch. The most amount of moves he can have stored at once and be able to use them optimally is 2. The maximum he can remember is 3. If he tries to learn another, his brain will either reject the new move (if he's glancing around and just happens to see someone showing off) or throw out an older move (if he's watching something purposefully).

[Strength]
World's Strongest Takeo Takashi is also very strong. He's not super strong or anything like that, but the level of his strength is on the upper bounds of what is physically possible for humans.

Biography:
Takashi was born in the mountains in a small village that raised mostly cattle and wiry fruit trees. At a young age he found that he had a particular fondness for physical labor and exertion, oftentimes working much longer than people older than him.

His parents wanted the world for him. They wanted him to take up a trade and bring in money for them. His parents quickly learned of his exceptional powers of observation and mimicry, but also noticed that he hated much of the trade work he was being taught.

Upon leaving his town, he got lost on the mountain path and very nearly died when a terrible blizzard knocked him off the mountain.

When he awoke, he was in a temple. His body twinged with incredible pain, but he was alive.

Taken in by a temple guardian and his son, they taught him their fighting methods. When Takeo threw his first punch, he felt his body sing. He was a fighter, and he knew it.

Day after day he stayed with his master and his master's son, the only person he was never able to beat. Even when the snow melted in the spring, Takeo continued to train at the temple. He doesn't know what happened to his parents, but he assumed they were dead.

Day after day he trained, until his master's son announced he would be leaving to take part in a tournament. Takeo wanted to go as well, but he was deemed too young.

For several months, Takeo cared for the temple alone. The master's son returned, bruised and defeated.

The next year was spent with Takeo training for his chance to enter the tournament that the Master's son had lost. For Takashi, the fight was long and arduous, but he came out on top. After defeating last year's champion, he was crowned the World's Strongest, a title he has successfully defended several times since.

People who are less enthusiastic about his successes call him "mohou-ou" (模倣王) or "Copy-Cat King".

However, he received word of his master's son vanishing. With no other leads to follow, Takashi boarded a ship and made his way to Manta Carlos, hoping to find his missing comrade.
