Going Off The Grid

Alright so I'm gonna make an official thread, because even though I don't hiatus often, I don't wanna make a new thread every time I do.

Anyway.

I'm going to be on an indefinite hiatus due to the decline in health of one of my close family members. He's currently in the Intensive Care Unit and I'm going to be going back to Massachusetts today. I'll probably be too stressed and sick with worry to do much posting, and the posts I do make will probably be a lower quality than I would like.

Uh, but anyway...

I'll still be loitering in the cbox. Just expect infrequent posts from me for a while.

Hiatus 1 Update

Just an update to this.

I found out today that he passed away in his sleep last night. My dad said it was peaceful.

I feel..... I don't know how I feel. I'm not sure it's even real to me right now.

So.... my hiatus will be still a while longer now.... sorry for anyone in a thread with me. My presence on the cbox will probably be mostly lurking.

Hiatus 2

So look who's hopping right back on hiatus.

So, here's the deal: Last term I got permission to take an incomplete for 2 of my classes so I could go home, attend my granddad's funeral, mourn, etc., etc.

BUT.

I do have to make up that incomplete, and I wanted to do it sooner rather than later, because next term is going to be devoted wholly to me getting ready to go to Japan.

So that means I'm taking my standard 3 classes, plus my Junior Project, PLUS the other 2 classes I didn't finish, for a total of 6 classes worth of work over 7 weeks.

YOLO.

As you can see not much room for SA in there.

So, I'm gonna be pretty spotty. I'll probably be around in the cbox, and i might post a bit, but don't expect regular posts or plotting.

END OF HIATUS 2

Anz is back and better than ever! I finished all my work this term so far, and now I'm back to being at a reasonable amount of work. So do you know what that means?

Back to posting!

I'm gonna post a bunch of open threads, as well as in any threads still waiting on replies from me.

I look forward to having fun with all of you again.

Inactive Status

So, here we are folks.

I don't really know what else to say other than... see you again later?

I'm not leaving the site, not permanently, but I am going to be officially shifting into what another site I've been on calls an 'Inactive Status'.

Of course, that was a site with activity checks so...

Anyway.

I haven't been feeling very good lately. Not physically, emotionally or mentally. I don't find myself to be good company in any capacity, and recently SA has only made this worse in certain respects.

I want to make it clear that this was no one's fault, or anyone's doing. Just a combination of factors coming together that I need time to deal with in an IRL capacity before I can feel ready to deal with them in regards to my online presence.

I hesitate to call this a hiatus not because I don't intend to return (because I do), but I because don't know how long it will be before that happens. Although it saddens me to lose plots that I have spent my 1 year+ cultivating, at the end of the day, the fact is that I don't currently have the fortitude to keep it up. I hope to return from this with higher spirits and a better mood.
