Sea and Coastline
The south, east, and west side of the island are filled with luxurious beaches, with the island's largest port resting on the south end. The north end has rocky outcroppings looking out over the many small islets.
Mertown
Officially named the Manta Carlos Aquatic District, this area is colloquially known as Mertown. It is a small bubble town off the coast of Manta Carlos City proper, with living accommodations, shops, and entertainment for anyone who needs constant exposure to salt water to live. For land dwelling visitors, a temporary underwater breathing spell and miniature trained aquatic animals allow them to move around as easily as the aquatic residents.

The Waterfront
The waterfront of Manta Carlos has a life of its own, well away from the city center. The waterfront features a fisherman's market, a well-managed beach, and a variety of restaurants, shops, and attractions. The Manta Carlos Marina can be found not far from the waterfront proper.

Islets
Surrounding the central island are smaller islets, featuring wildlife, mysterious creatures, and unique magical properties. Students and citizens who are either suspended or are caught in criminal acts reside on the northwest Islet, where they attend the Behavioral Corrections Facility for rehabilitation.
