"Interesting, so you are the same as Miss Asteria, then." The cat plush nodded, still watching the ocean. "Miss Asteria is a witch, or so she says, but she is immortal. She has lived for hundreds of years, maybe even longer. I cannot say for certain, as she is very secretive about most of her life. Anything she says is almost certainly a falsehood, unless she is having a moment of genuine honesty. It's very odd."

Nyx, now safely away from the kelp, was now attempting to time her return to shore without getting swept by the waves. Although her face remained stoic, it was clear that it was some sort of game to her to time her return perfectly without getting wet. She could easily jump over it, but preferred the challenge of escaping the ever shifting tide.

Zora was unsurprised to hear that Asteria was immortal. There were too many rumours about her, rumours that stretched decades, even centuries, about where she had been and what she had done. Some of it, was obviously a fanciful fabrication, others though, Zora had genuinely wondered about.

"Yes, Asteria and I are very similar in certain ways." Zora agreed, "Although I am not as old, nor as secretive," she told Ezra, not want to say Asteria lied, but she certainly was not known for being extremely forthcoming with all the facts.

"I think it is good that you are not like her. Living with her is very difficult as it is hard to comprehend her emotional stability. I am aware that I am not... well-versed in the art of empathy, but I find her to be even more frustrating than the average person I have met." Ezra lamented, the cat plush sagging slightly as if defeated by their guardian's oddities. "I try my best to be supportive of her, although she does not like that. She wishes for me to live my life as a teenager, although even I am unsure of how long I have been alive."

"Miss Zora, do you enjoy being immortal? Looking at it logically, I can see how it can be very beneficial for the world yet how demanding it can be personally. But I cannot comprehend the emotional factor to it. Can you assist me and tell me your opinion?"

Zora stared curiously at Salem/Ezra as he talked, she then shook her head, "You understand human emotions much better than you think," she told him gently. "Don't ever sell yourself short on that. And being a teenager means, I think, that Asteria just wants you to enjoy your existence and not worry about things that you don't need to." Zor said as her gaze moved to the water before her and to his regalia and how she seemed to be enjoying the experience of discovering the beach.

"For the moment I do," Zora told Ezra, "But I haven't been immortal for very long. I imagine with time when those I love start moving on, then immortality won't seem so grand at times," she admitted.

"I will not grow old and my son, and the other love of my life, Broen, will age. They will died at some point, and I will continue on without them, unchanged," she told Ezra her voice sad, a bit hollow even. "It's not something I like to think about, ... though my son is a witch, which means he should live a few hundred years..." she said. "So there's that consolation," she sighed, hugging her knees to her chest.

"...I will thank you for the compliment. It is nice to know that my emotional education is going better than previously believed." Ezra stated, the cat plush giving a few nods of acknowledgement. They slowly stood up from their seated position and waddled carefully over towards Zora. The sand was not the most conductive of floors for soft plush toy pads to walk on without losing your balance so the spirit had to be very careful in how they moved. Once close enough, the gave the woman a few pats on the knee with their paw.

"I may not be the best person for advice regarding such matters, but I would not worry about that far into the future. Enjoy the time with your lover and son, even if their times on this world are not as long as yours. Mourning for the eventually deceased is selfish in a way, Miss Zora. Why mourn the eventual loss when you can celebrate life with them instead?" Salem tilted its head, as if expecting an answer. Before Zora could respond, however, Ezra continued to talk.

"If the concerns of immortality are still a burden to you, I would recommend speaking to someone who is immortal who can relate to your situation. Miss Asteria might be one option, or perhaps a therapist who can help you understand your worries and let them be less taxing on yourself. This is the advice I believe Miss Asteria would give in this situation, so I hope it is of some benefit to you."

Ezra looked to the ocean, calling out to the Regalia who was still dancing among the waves. Upon hearing her name, she lazily floated to shore without the waves touching her. Before Ezra could say more, the puppet was already floating around Nyx in a slow orbit.
