Private Finished A Shocking Experience

He'd much on a cheese fry whole he waited for his new friend to return, a small shadow tentacle appearing on his shoulder and slowly swaying back and forth as he waited. This was definitely turning out to be an interesting day.

He'd give her a smile and shake her hand, "it's good to meet you Xarrah," he'd chuckle just a bit. "You look good," he'd slide the snacks to her, the small shadow tentacle picking up and holding his soda.

"So...haven't explored much?" he'd sip his soda, "I'm usually teleporting around the city on the weekends, if you ever want to see any of it." He'd been enjoying the hell out of his teleportation ability, "usually I just hang out at comic book shops and game stores." He'd dip a fry into some hot sauce, eating it, "I'm honestly kind of a big geek," he'd say with a small grin.

"Nothing wrong with being a potato sack," he'd say with a chuckle, "though it's better if you find someone to be a potato sack with, someone to play games and watch horror movies with you." This seemed to be a date, or at least very close to one, and so far it seemed to be going well.

James would grin a bit, "teleporting means you get skip lines....well most of them," he'd eat a fry, "stores just opening, lines outside, as soon as the sign says open I can have us through a portal right in front of the register." He'd done it once or twice, it was handy, he was surprised teleporters didn't do it more often.

He'd tilt his head in thought, the same question going through his mind, "you said your a senior right? So we probably don't have any classes together." He'd eat a few more fries, "you uh, want my phone number? Or maybe my dorm number?" He wasn't quite asking her out, but things were certainly leaning in that direction.

He'd grin, "maybe we should set up a movie night," that did sound fun, and if she did get scared he'd be there for her to hold onto, "unless you get to scared to watch them," he'd tease a little, with a playful smile.

The changeling would give her his number, letting her add hers his phone, he'd of course text her a an emoji of a cute dragon playing a video game. "That would be a sight," he'd chuckle, "dragon pushing through so we can grab a new game."

"You wanna meet up tomorrow then?" he'd ask, "watch movies, play games, can't play much besides a little guitar but I'm good at listening." He'd grin a bit, "and if all else fails, we gorge on junk food and do prank calls on all our friends."

"Tomorrow it is," he'd say, giving her a smile, a couple of shadow tentacles gathering their trash once they'd finished their snacks and tossing them into a nearby trashcan. "Guess we'll get to see how well you hold up against horror movies," he'd say challengingly.

Standing, he'd smile and chuckle, "shocks or no shocks, this was fun." Shack with a cute girl and plane for a sorta date tomorrow, yes this evening had been very successful.

He'd finish his soda, "so, wanna walk back with me? You can go through my movies and pick which ones you wanna watch tomorrow," today had been expected, "or I could just teleport us there."

Chuckling he'd open up a portal, "remind me to hide all my Star Trek stuff," he'd usher her through the portal which would close behind him. An unexpected event for both of them, but one that they both ultimately enjoyed.
