Rory did fly out of the way of his beams. But for the fun of it, she wanted to see... how much could she take? She flew at him at full speed. Faster and faster. She could drop at a ridiculous speed, but she boosted herself with her inertia to really put some oomph behind it!

Oh boy it was one of those unstoppable force, immovable object moments. Travis covered himself in spiky armor plates, and braced himself. He wasn't backing down from this. He wouldn't back down from anything. His eyes just screamed "Bring it the fuck on!"

He'd tank that impact and counter with something.

And Rory flew into Travis. It. Fucking. Hurt. She was not nearly as tanky as him. It ended with Rory lying prone on the ground, face in the sand, and blood messing up her shit.

"You dumbass," Travis both was and wasn't worried as Rory slammed into him, laying herself off in the process. She had that weird healing of hers so she'd mostly be alright. Probably. He shook his head.
