The buildings surrounding the open town center of Mertown were grown from coral and carved from stone, and were a sight to behold. Colors seem to explode in the water, the light streaming through from the sun making patterns all across the open party area.
Booths are open with a variety of seafood delicacies and drinks contained in caviar-like gel orbs. There is haunting music, drifting slowly in the water. Games and entertainment abound.
The King of the Merfolk, joined by ministers and officials from Manta Carlos City float above a stage erected from driftwood.
