Serpent Bianco (that's what **most** people know him as, INCLUDING the people in his care) is a full-time Dorm Parent, of the variety "Hall Parent", and when he's not at the dorm he's usually at the school doing various odd jobs as an aide in various departments such as Security, Counseling, Daycare, or helping out various teachers (he considers himself a freelancer).

So I don't forget the description, here's the "Hall Parent" bit from the Wiki:

-Responsibilities of Hall Parents:
-Must live at the school in the dorms. Every child on their hall is their responsibility; this typically ranges from 10-16 children.
-Make themselves available to the children in their care at virtually all times.
-Host regular informal meetings for the children in their care. Common options for these meetings include going to dinner as a hall, board game nights, inter-hall competitions, and excursions to the town. The school provides a small budget for such things to each hall parent; this is frequently spent on movies and transportation.
-Enforce rules and ensure the safety and well-being of the children in their care
