Hearing the girl explain that she could manipulate water like Arlette made her feel a lot … better about her powers, actually. There was no need to be so awkward about her powers, especially when there were people here who could do almost exactly what she could! She grinned as she complimenting how it looked, feeling a surge of confidence run through her veins. "Thanks!"
Then the girl began to explain who she was dressed as. A movie, she said. Arlette wondered if she would get into it if she watched it. It was definitely a cool design. Then she gestured to the boy behind her, named Attel, and what he was dressed as. Arlette nodded, intriged. "Well, they're both awesome. I might check it out later." She was about to turn back towards the food, thinking that was the end of the conversation, but hesitated. She turned back to the two, asking, "Hey, what is your name? You mentioned his was Attel." She turned to Attel, giving him an actual greeting. "Hi, by the way." Looking between the two she said, "My name's Arlette." She figured the first name was really all shen needed to say, for now.
