Powers:
• Lycanthropy: can shift into the form of an Arctic Marble Fox. When in her fox form, her smell and hearing are enhanced, and she has good control over her actions and thoughts. There are times when animal instincts tend to overpower her mind, but very rarely does she lose control. The act of shifting takes up quite a bit of energy, so Arlette only shifts when she knows she can stay in her form for at least a couple hours. If she grows tired or hungry in her fox form, it wouldn't be a good idea to shift back into a human so she ends up eating and/or resting before shifting back.
• Elemental Manipulation: can create and manipulate existing ice and snow. It doesn't require as much energy as her shifting, so this is the power she ends up using more often. However, summoning ice and snow out of thin air is more difficult for her, so she prefers using pre-existing materials (but she is willing to create if she must). When she's angry her powers start getting out of control and create mini-blizzards, but once she calms down she can easily make it disappear. She's gotten adept at creating ice sculptures for fun; the most powerful thing she's been able to create so far is a life-sized house that someone could actually live in. She can freeze water and other liquids into solids, but one thing she can not do is melt them back to what they were before. She can only make things colder, and would need someone else (or time) to undo it.
Because of this power she does not get cold as easily as most people. However, she is more sensitive to heat.
Biography: Arlette lived with her parents in the Rocky Mountains, far enough away from big cities to use their powers in peace. She got her lycanthropy from her mother, and her elemental powers from her father. Her father was able to manipulate air, but since Arlette was born and raised around snow she grew to control the cold.
Shortly after graduating from private school (which helped keep her powers hidden from the general public), she learned of Starlight Academy and traveled to the Manta Carlos Islands.
Additional Information:
• Arlette can speak semi-fluent French, but doesn't speak it that often. However, her curses and exclamations are in French.
