I can't make anymore characters, but I offer up the Laughingwoods as a family that the Octavius might be associated with. They've had magic for at least a thousand years or so. Vanora's mother is one and Loralai is also secretly one. I'll get to that eventually meeeh.

As discussed in the plotting chat, I'll give some info on my Octavius
Full name: Ein Va'ak Lecturn Octavius (Ein in ancient tongue means "King" as well as Va'ak means "Slaughterer")
Magistar heirloom is a very long magicians staff named "Apocalyptic Creed"
Relation: Great grandfather to Octain and Lyndis Octavius
Magic Rank: Warlock
Magic: Spacial Magic, one of the three strongest types of magic, tied first/second/third
Rough back story (subject to change):
- Was a one of a kind magician, studied barrier magic then came engrossed into books and travelled the world to find all sorts of them.
-Created all sorts of magical equipment using alchemy to help with his travels and gradually became renowned within the family.
- Came across when searching in a high magical secure room, a book detailing the secrets to one of the lost magic artes, Spatial magic.
- Straight away became fixated to even to the point of slight madness about this book, started to think to travel back to Octavius family.
- Found wife, had children, became the head of the family all the while focus on the study of this book he kept secret to even his own family.
- Secret about his new magic came to light, became even more famous but feared that others in the family might steal knowledge of this ancient arte.
- Locked himself using magic and created his own spacial domain of which all his knowledge is stored inside as well as prized magic artifacts, eventually lost to time and became known more as a weapon that's imprisoned called the King Slayer.
- During stay inside this domain, he grew older but fixed with this new magic he has, also replaced his organs and soul into crystal and eventually turned himself into a living weapon. Just fixated on knowledge of the past rather than the present.
- Also found out that spacial domain was close to hell, befriended all sorts of demons and gained knowledge across that world too.
- Locked to this day until a certain Magistar freed him from his mirror, now with a new purpose, assist the current head as both a mentor but also figurehead if any shit goes to the drain. Ein is one of the strongest magicains still to this day

Just posting an overdue update on exactly what I'm contributing to the Octavius family tree.
Firstly, I'm making the younger sister of Nael's asshole plant bishie, named Acacia.
I will also make someone from a new branch that uses music to summon stuff, I'll need to hash out that branch and their brand of magic more later.
