She shrugged. He was right but she still kept on eating it, just enjoying the fact that she could taste anything at all.

"It's really sweet," Louise told him absently. "Although, actually, I wouldn't mind eating some cobwebs. I've been staring at some for decades now and after I stopped being really bothered by them, I've been starting to think that maybe they're secretly delicious or something. I mean, why else would flies keep stupidly flying into them?"

"I don't want to eat cobwebs or smores or whatever they are," Lochlann said, flattening his ears against his head. "I wish we had more apples instead. Now that was a treat that was tasty, delicious, and full of reproductive value."

He stuck a hoof out tentatively into the caramel. it was sticky, just as anticipated, and he groaned.

"Do you want to get ants? because this is how you get ants."

"Ants are fine, too, I guess. Wait, actually no." She thought for a moment. "Sometimes people put them on me and it feels absolutely rotten. Ants can just go and die in a fire."

"You want to go to the land of apples instead?" Louise asked, squinting at the horizon. "I'm pretty sure we can get there. Might have to go through the caramel apple jungle first, though."

Seneca Yates

"Are you quite sure you're fine like that?" he asked after a few moments had passed. "Because I really do believe that tea does wonders at times like these."

When a steaming teapot automatically appeared on the ground in front of him, Seneca didn't even question it anymore. He simply poured himself another cup before putting the pot back exactly where it had materialized. When he did, he found that an extra cup had appeared as well. He filled it and left it where it was.

Mildly, he observed, "The mushrooms are spreading. Is that supposed to happen?"

Dulce

He gazed upon his beautiful daughter, giving the giggling girl Eskimo kisses before returning his attention to his lovely Micah. "She has your smile as well."

Silently, he swore he'd be a good father. He'd have to learn along the way, of course, as their own father wasn't probably the best example to live by, but he had Micah. His daughter and Micah were all he needed to feel confident in his good father skills.

"Now, all you guys have to do is give me lots and lots of nieces and nephews, yeah?" He paused to call over his shoulder, where nine others suddenly appeared. The first man that had formed from thin air sat in a right and proper throne, looking like a king. Another had started demanding books because he had a lust for knowledge. The ninth man to appear merely smirked at Dulce's proclamation. The man knew he'd be a shitty excuse for a father, but there was no harm in trying-- he reached for an apple from the plentiful apple tree of babies, even as Dulce scowled at Wrath. "Get your hell spawn away from my sweet, innocent Micah!"

Seth looked back over at them for a moment, before looking down at the teapot. Tea did sound nice...

He shuffled over to the teapot, pouring himself a cup and holding it close to him, breathing in the warm steam rising up from it. He smiled slightly. This was nice... He nodded over to the man who had suggested it. "Thank you. I suppose you're right, tea does make everything better."

He looked back over at the corner, where the mushrooms had, in fact, spread quite a ways. "Oh yeah," he said, in regards to their continued growth. "They tend to do that." He paused. "It's fiiiiiine..."

==> Allan > Seneca & Seth

Allan hummed in agreement. "I think that latent magic is more stressful than being awake," he said with a soft laugh. He rarely got to talk to people in his dreams and it was probably his first time in a collective dream. Was it? If his memory serves him right, it would be. "It's really weird though. I should have woken up by now."

Allan turned to the other person curiously. Seth was rocking back and forth like someone in trauma. Whatever happened to him, Allan didn't feel like finding out. Where the mushrooms came from wasn't quite a concern but he could guess it had something to do with his trauma.

Allan let Seneca invite Seth into their circle. It was only three of them at the moment so he felt at ease. At the mention of tea, Allan figured he should probably have tea and thought of making the pot of tea materialize. He didn't tell Seneca. Lucid dreaming was great. It made him feel like he was in control for once.

As Seth finished talking, Allan got curious. "Are you sure it's really fine though? Aren't they poisonous or something?"

Seth took a long, slow sip of his tea, looking back over at the mushrooms to check what kind they might be. They appeared now to be morphing in color, shifting from red to green to blue to yellow, to all the colors of the rainbow, giving them a psychedelic appearance in the corner of the room. Atop the largest one a big, bright yellow smiley face began to materialize.

He turned back over to Allan, blinking.

".......It's fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine...."

Allan looked at the mushrooms warily. Are mushrooms supposed to glow in psychedelic colors? The again this was the dream world. Allan could just make it go away since he was pretty much in control for the most part but if it was harmless then there should be nothing to worry about. That and it makes their tent look like they have this cool hippie lamp.

"So, um," Allan hesitated. Should he actually ask Seth about it? Maybe at least if he knew where it sprouted from, he could have some peace of mind, "Where... did you actually get those mushrooms? They're cool but... oddly suspicious."

Now that Allan had mentioned it.....Seth had never really contemplated where, exactly, the mushrooms came from. They were always just sort of....around. He had never actually stopped to think about it. Huh. Well, no time like the present. A dream was a good enough place as any to start thinking.

"I.......I don't really know," he started. He paused, thinking that wasn't nearly satisfactory enough to ease the concerns of the other two in the tent. "Um....I think they grow from my distress?" He paused. This seemed right. He nodded. "Yeah. They grow from my negative emotions. Should be fine, though. Completely harmless. I just, um..." he looked back over at the glowing colors behind him, then shook his head, "y-yeah, I wouldn't eat those, is all..."

Seth wondered just what else, exactly, was going on in the rest of this strange, giant collective dream...but he wasn't about to leave the security of this tent to find out.
