[ Hari Takahiro ]

Hari finally lost the blue guy.

Good.

He stepped out of his disguise as part of a nearby tree and began walking back to the park. That was when he caught sight of the little boy that was following him. He felt... really touched that he bothered to do so, but they were pretty far from the park. Hari picked "Tebinter" up. "I'm sorry, Tebinter. My name's Hari. Let's go back to the park."

[ Lochlann —> Le-kzen Ta'driz ]

"Ahhh, I love the surface!"

Lochlann took the paper plate with a word of thanks and watched in amusement as she filled the plates, seemingly at random. He was a little choosier himself, picking a small piece of chicken, a little bit of something barbequed, making it look like he actually had an appetite.

If he was being a hundred percent honest, he did not want to eat anything except for....

......well he found himself checking out her butt and he tore his eyes away, counting to ten in his head, thinking nice, chaste thoughts.

. "You know, my brother and I never had this kind of food back in the drow city. We were really poor. We had to get by with insects, rats, mushrooms and all that gross stuff for the longest time. It's a surprise you surfacers are so... giving with your food."

"It is pretty impressive," Lochlann admitted, shrugging. "There's so many social customs surrounding the eating though, when it's appropriate, when it's not appropriate, specific words that have to be said."

He shook his head. "It gets really complicated sometimes. When I first moved to the states, that was the first thing that signaled me as an outsider. You and your brother have adapted here way quicker than I have."

He hesitated at the end of the line, seeing that her hands were full and said, "Do you want me to grab drinks for you two? I don't know what you like but if you let me know I can carry it."

[ Dyshelle —> Cabel ]

The small woman smiled lightly at the young man who sat himself down at the other side of her blanket. She reached into her bag and produced her trusty wooden spoon. With a wave and an incantation, she produced a plate for herself and Cabel.

"I do!" She said, placing both plates on the blanket. She had hoped that she would be able to convince a few people at the park today. A bit of old school advertising. "It's called The Magic Spoon, right off the boulevard!"

Seeing him produce a small creature from his bag, she was very intrigued. It didn't look like any animal or magical beast she'd ever seen before.

"Oh, my name is Dyshelle Powell." The witch said as she shook his hand. "I've seen you around as well, but I've got a talent for figuring out people's names."

She gave her soon another wave, and a slice of Strawberry Shortcake floated onto her plate. She used the wooden spoon itself to eat a bit of the tasty confection. "I've never seen anything like little Lemonsqueeze there..."

[ Amphios —> #5946789687 #91827364501 & #81056444890]

Amphios stared at the phone's name. "That's... so cool!" He said, watching the meme-filled vine. The finer art of the meme went right over his head, but he found everything else to be admirable. Except for the arson. That... he hoped that was edited in. He really, really did.

The faun handed the phone back to Joker and smiled, fishing is own phone out of his pocket with his account displayed as grassCookie. He navigated to his own vine account, where a little (or a lot, this one took him a couple days) of editing magic had him using cards to cut a lime in half by flicking them at it.

The one before that was him grass-boarding down a hill and rolling into the pond. That had been fun.

"You're pretty good! I wanted to make a few vines today!" He carefully set his equipment on the ground and extended a hand to Joker. "You can call me Amphy."

He looked over as a... bird woman walked over, whose name was Coral if Redhotchilipepes could be believed. Huh. "Uh... I don't think so."

[ DJ —> Hari ]

It was hard navigating the forest with little legs.

There were rocks and leaves and logs, and even though he was a big boy and could climb over most of them, sometimes there were mean hidden rocks that made him trip and fall.

He stood up--he wasn't going to cry, it didn't hurt, not him, he was too big and strong--and kept trying to follow his new mystery friend.

The three year old looked around before noticing Hari again, trotting to meet him.

At the assertion that they should go back to the park, the toddler shook his head vigorously, shaking most of his body with it. He pointed at the forest. "Dere," he said.

Walking around with his white-rim shades, Axle made his way towards the park with strong strides and confidence. Since he was so new to this city and he had almost no friends at the Academy, Axle thought it would be a good place for him to mingle and get to know some people. If anyway was anyway, he'd figure that out the moment he arrived at this picnic. He was innocent to the personalities and history of the Academy and the people that called this City home. He thought a question or two would help him figure things out.

As he approached the park, he could see people all around. His toothy grin filling his face, the energetic young man made his way down to meet the people. Axle felt kind of funny. It was the first time in a long time he was able to just go somewhere and be a teenager looking to hangout with other people. Though he was not sure how they'd react to his new guy showing up. "Meh, it'll be fine." He said under his breath with a shrug.

Coatzin
Once again Coatzin darted towards the Frisbee, this was starting to get a bit too repetitive, and she started to somehow feel like a dog chasing the Frisbee when its master threw it, time to give things a little twist “Well, the school is proving to be really interesting. I’m starting to learn to expect the unexpected, I still need to make my group of friends grow a bit though!” Once again she grabbed the Frisbee with her tail, throwing it in a diagonal line, higher than where her new friend was and also fairly fast “Catch it if you can!”.

Argya
Argya smiled as the smooth notes came out from her guitar, repeating a couple here and there, remembering the notes as she played and quickly trying new ones if she didn’t like the previous one. Hm…this was proving to be quite a nice piece, she had to write it down to play it again later, maybe even make a whole new song. Should she put lyrics in this one or just make it instrumental?

[Adelene >> Allan and Eph]

Adelene followed Allah's lead to a shade, and for a moment, she was just silent and listening to their stories. She wasn't one to answer that question fully, but she thought she had to give her share of the conversation so...

"It's safer here than in the outside world. For me at least," she answered. When Eph laughed, she gasped and fidgeted, not knowing what to do. "Hey, what's... wrong..." But she trailed off when she realized she was only laughing. Adelene chuckled and just let her speak. No objections. She was fine with that. She shot Allan a smile and shrugged.

[Paradox >> Axle]

@"Myth"

Paradox was out today, and Alec's consciousness was asleep deep within the mind they shared. Unlike Alec's usual get up, Paradox put on black clothes-- black t-shirt, jeans, sneakers, and then really dark tainted shades over his gray eyes. He was chilling out under a tree, grinning like the cool and awesome person he was, watching all the fun around him. Like Alec, the sun hurt his eyes and face. And even with sunblock, and the really dark sunglasses, he couldn't really move around as much as the others. But if given the opportunity, he would willingly go hangout with anyone. He's seen everyone here at least once before, after all...

Except that cool-looking guy that had the same aura he was emitting. Interested, he immediately approached him from the back and gave him a tap on the shoulder. "Hey, never seen you around before. You new?" he asked, quite straightforwardly. It was okay to be new around. That was why this picnic was held, after all, so people would get to know more people.

[ Le-kzen Ta'driz ]

"Really?" Le-kzen considered that. "Are there rules that could get us killed? Because if there are, I think I should know now. Ardos and I don't want to get in trouble with the law... or get into rowdy dinners with everybody."

Her plates were dangerously full. She laughed at Lochlann's comment at how they were adjusting better than him, mostly because it probably wasn't true. "Oh, I just act like I know what I'm doing but I really don't! The other day, my brother and I went to McDonald's and the guard had to escort us outside because I almost jumped on the counter when they told me how cheap the food were. I think my exact words were NO SHIT!?!?"

Le-kzen looked around. "Aw, you're so sweet. We'll just take two bottled waters, thank you."

After she decided the food was enough, Le-kzen stood up, picked the plates up and perfectly balanced them with her hands. She waggled her eyebrows at Lochlann. "Look at my posture right now. Quick, put a bottle on my head and let's see if it doesn't fall."

[Cabel--> Dyshelle ]

"And please tell me you're open on weekend?" Cabel asked, perking up. He tended to work late at the restaurant and then his other illicit activities took place after, but he always scheduled himself a day off to make sure he didn't go stir crazy.

He loved the idea of eating one of her goods while making drugs. He only wondered what beautiful concoctions he could come up with. The Magic Spoon, off the boulevard. Security tended to be a lot better though so it wasn't always along his normal route, but Cabel was going to have to take a special trip there now.

"Oh, my name is Dyshelle Powell." "I've seen you around as well, but I've got a talent for figuring out people's names."

"Well Dyshelle, I need to thank you again for your hospitality," Cabel said. "I have a horrible weakness for sweets. It is my only character flaw."

He laughed, bouncing Lemonsqueeze on his lap. He found her book cover and his eyes lit up."I am sorry we interrupted your reading. Is that the one were they go to macedonia, or was that Forbidden Delights with the Demon Doorman?"

She gave her soon another wave, and a slice of Strawberry Shortcake floated onto her plate. She used the wooden spoon itself to eat a bit of the tasty confection. "I've never seen anything like little Lemonsqueeze there..."

"He is certainly a bundle of joy, but he wasn't planned," Cabel said, shaking his head. "But accidents happened and we've learned to adapt! It's been quite a growing experience."

Coral's shoulders dropped. Obviously, Joker would be too preoccupied with other things other than her. It wasn't a new thing. Now he seems like he found a new friend to share his... vines. She could do that too! But... she was too shy to do any of the things Joker did.

Coral turned to Thorn as she heard her voice. "Ink!" she chirped. Of course she knew she was going by Thorn now, but old habits die hard and she was still used to calling her 'Ink' even up until now.

At the sound of a guitar strumming, Thorn immediately stood up. "There's someone playing the guitar there. Wanna check it out?" Coral didn't need to think about it, "Sure thing!" she responded. Joker already had company--the only thing she could worry about is what they could do. She only hopes it wouldn't be anything that dangerous.

"Say, I haven't asked what you've been up to here? It's been years!"

==> Allan > Adelene & Eph

"It's safer here than in the outside world. For me at least."

"Well, I hope you are finding it here safe, Adelene." Allan said distantly. He couldn't say it was safe. He was still having visions during the evening. Not as much because he hasn't associated with a lot people yet but being associated to a school seemed to connect him to every student. And that wasn't very good for him. He had nightmares almost every other evening and he felt like things were going to get worse.

Allan shook the thought away and brought his thoughts back to the present. He had... acquaintances around him. He shouldn't think about the bad things and he should enjoy the day.

Allan had almost panicked similarly from Eph's response. Both at her sounding angered and sounding like she was having an asthma attack but with Adelene reacting first, Allan withdrew any questions of his concern. Even after he realized that fit was actually just Eph's laughter, he still didn't quite recovered from her initial reply. He saw Adelene smile at him at the corner of his eye and it made him look down to his feet in embarrassment.

He just listened to Eph's story like that--not looking at either. He kept his eyes shifted between where he was going and down his feet. He couldn't make eye contact. That would be.. rude.

"Anyway. I guess being here was basically an... accident? I mean, I'd never be here if mommy Millia didn't randomly choose to settle near where En and I was. Oh, En's my dad of sorts, by the way. He's a tree. Y - yeah."

Wait what? Allan stopped in his tracks, falling behind them for a few steps, "You're dad is a tree?" he mused aloud. "I-I mean... um... that's interesting but... what do you mean by 'dad of sorts'?" Allan asked curiously as he caught up with them to the nearest unoccupied tree shade.

[Axle-->Paradox ]

As he walked closer, Axle's path was obstructed by another person in all black with shades. This new person reminded Axle much of himself so much it was like looking into a mirror of sorts. The stranger had welcomed the new student, asking him if he was new. Was Axle that green-looking? It was kind of funny in a way and made him laugh a little.

With a chuckle, Axle nodded his head before replying. "Yeah I am. Am I really that noticeable?" Looking this stranger up and down once, Axle gave a nod to his posture and overall aura before introducing himself. "I'm Axle. Cool to meet ya. 'Gotta say you look like a really awesome dude. I bet you spit fire or something huh mate?" Already meeting people with such first impressions made Axle believe that his time here was going to be filled with many good stories and memories. He placed out his hand for a shake and a smile formed across his lips.
