"Helloooo Starlight Academy!" Came a deep, nearly husky voice as the boat transporting students to and from the island was slowly maneuvered into the school's dock. First off the boat was a tall, rather pale young man. He appeared to be in his early twenties, with red hair that was clearly dyed but complimented his vivid red eyes and naturally pale complexion. He wore a simple, black designer shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, sharp designer jeans and shoes that were also black, and an understated silver chain around his neck. Slung over his shoulder was what looked like a considerably large suitcase, but he appeared to have no trouble toting it around. A bad boy, wild type of aura was all emanating off of him in waves, emphasized by the roguish smirk on his handsome features. The expression also served to give a hint of fang-- he was a vampire, after all.
Next off the boat was a younger boy, somewhere around his mid-teens, that was considerably shorter than the first. Soft blonde hair was cut to his shoulders, the fringe of which kept getting into his golden honey eyes. He was dressed much more casually than the vampire, sporting slightly baggy clothes that looked extremely comfortable, and gave off a much more childish, good-natured, almost playful aura. "Haha, let's go, let's go, let's go!" He exclaimed with a light laugh as he bounced his way down the dock, swinging several small suitcases from side to side. For a split second, his eyes flashed a deeper amber and his excited grin gained its own hint of fang-- he was a 'werewolf'.
Last, but certainly not least, the final member of the little trio walked off the boat, wheeling his own large suitcase behind him with dignity. Just a few inches shorter than the vampire and several inches taller than the werewolf, this man appeared to be in his late twenties. His silvery white hair was layered down to his shoulders, and though he reached a long-fingered hand up to tuck his hair behind his right ear, the rest remained to cover his left eye, the other of which was a wine-like reddish-brown. Unlike the vampire and the werewolf, he gave off a more mature, responsible air that had a hint of static-- or magic to one who could sense that sort of thing, which identified him as a wizard. "Calm down, you two. It isn't as if the Academy will disappear on us; it will still be there regardless of how much time we take to get there." He gently scolded his companions, and though the other two had the decency to look abashed, he knew their excitement couldn't be contained. The white-haired man was dressed rather formally, though had kept the tropical climate of the island in mind. He too wore his crisp, white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled to his elbows, a dark gray cravat tied loosely around his neck, and black slacks and shoes.
"Yeah, yeah, just hurry up." The vampire grumbled, rolling his eyes in exasperation even though his tone held no real venom. In fact, his smirk turned into a small, nearly fond smile. Of course, the expression warranted teasing from the young werewolf, which launched the two into a bickering, light-hearted argument that lasted the whole journey from the docks to the administration building of Starlight Academy. "Oh, hush, both of you, and try not to stir up too much trouble." The wizard murmured as he led the trio into the building and to the admissions office.
"Names?" The secretary on duty asked immediately upon seeing the trio's suitcases, recognizing them as incoming students.
"I am Arren King." The white-haired wizard said, smiling and nodding politely.
"Jace Nightray, darling~" The vampire purred, the corners of his lips tilting into a faint smirk.
"Ace Pendragon!" The werewolf said eagerly, offering the woman a bright grin.
A little overwhelmed, the woman stuttered a bit before jumping back into action, quickly and efficiently checking all three of them in and handing each of them a bundle of papers. Each bundle contained a map of the Academy, their schedules, and whatever other paperwork was required upon a student's arrival. With that, the secretary returned to typing away at her computer, but couldn't help but blush at Jace's departing smirk and smile at Ace's sweet farewell.
"Well, that wasn't so hard, now was it?" Arren commented lightly, watching as Jace and Ace hurried ahead of him. "Yeah, now let's go explore! Please~?" The werewolf threw over his shoulder, pausing to turn around and walk backwards so he could give Arren a pleading look. "Oh great, here comes the puppy dog eyes." Jace muttered snarkily, starting he and Ace into yet another argument.
'Ah, family. Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.' Thought Arren, shaking his head slowly at the bickering pair.
