Sheepskin Rabbit's Foot

By the time he'd leaned into Rich's offered hand, Rhu's head had stopped spinning from dizziness. He grinned even if he had spun himself right round like a record in a hurricane, and waved it off.

"I'm okay, I'm okay! Just changed direction a few too many times there. Same as spinning around in one spot without teleporting." Awww flash. "Shall we go?"

Rhu pulled the door open for both of them, and then offered his arm to Rich once they were out in the hallway. Sure, it might give him away whenever his step had too much bounce in it, but he would much rather be touching Rich. He deftly led Rich out of the shelter and onto the road.

"It is. Kinda too bad we missed the sunset," Rhu mused, almost all of his attention on the hand holding his. There was a lot of skin contact when holding hands. It was awesome.

Yaaayyyyy next times. Rhu squeezed Rich's hand back lightly and bumped him with a hip to warn him of the turn. "Just around this way, and then it's across the street. See there?"

He pointed with his lonely hand to a small restaurant, a patio out front packed up but not put away quite yet. The sign said Foxfire's Kitchen, and there was indeed a little fox - well, a two-tailed kitsune with a frying pan - on the banner.

If Rich bumped back, it would probably unbalance Rhu and make him teleport back upright to keep from pulling Rich down onto the cold, hard ground. Maybe if it was a floor indoors.

"That's what I thought! And I've heard good music from their patio, from when it was warmer, and people seem to be happy near it." Rhu pushed the crosswalk button a few times with a finger, impatient for it to change.
