Having Rich lean against him while they both looked at the kitten was pretty awesome, Rhu had to admit. He wrapped his arms around the bunnyfox's waist to give him a little hug, and blushed when Rich kissed him again.

Come on, he had kissed and been kissed so many times. Why was he blushing? Well, Rich was insanely cute and fluffy. The sheer level of fluffy was a spectacular record, and Rhu was both adoring and curious about it. So fluffy.

"Must have been magic jewellery. Y'know, if you'd like... I can sneak you in here whenever you want until she's cleared for adoption," Rhu said slowly, not exactly hesitant in offering it but not quite teasing either. Was it mostly just an excuse to see Rich a lot?

Well, it made for a pretty damn good excuse.

"Yeah, she is cu-" Rhu blinked and then giggled a bit. Gah. Rich was just so.

Made him want to do things buuutttt he had just met Rich. And this was his place of work. He'd done plenty of stuff with people he'd just met before, so that wasn't really an issue, but he didn't want to get fired.

"You're adorable," he said instead, tilting his head to bop the bunnyfox gently before following him to the wall. A pair of nearly identical grey kittens, much larger and lankier and outgoing than the little fuzzy chimerid, immediately jumped on him and tried to chew on his ear.

"Heyyy at least go for the horn," he protested, deftly relocating one to the top of his head and the other, more sharp-toothed kitten to his lap where he could hold onto him.

D'awwww so cute! Rhu grinned like a complete idiot at the nose wiggle and pout. "Well, what would you do if you did have use of your arms?" Totally teasing, only flirting, not going beyond that.... yeah no Rhu was just enjoying this as much as he could.

Kitten escape! Rhu's grin softened to see the shy kitten adventuring, and he snuggled against Rich a bit, wiggling his toes in his shoes. "I think she wants to see what your plan is. Or just play with your ears. They are awesome ears, after all."

Rhu's heart skipped a brief tune and he casually moved a hand so that the kitten could climb to Rich's head easier. Just a convenient foothold and all. Totally just to help the kitten, not to free up Rich's arms nope 100% yup.

"Any other cats who try to occupy your arms are fine to relocate," Rhu said sweetly - and then glared as angrily as he could at a longer-haired tuxedo kitten who was trying to climb into Rich's arms. Nope nope nope. He stretched over the bunnyfox, careful not to unbalance his own riders, and scooped up that kitten to put him on his knee.

Rhu's heart flew, excited and anticipatory - and then Rich picked up a kitten.

His shoulders and the sides of his face tingled, flushed with heat and confusion. He- wasn't he- what?

Rhu's face fell a bit. "That was your mission?" He asked quietly, looking at the kitten on his knee as it squirmed and then jumped off to go wrestle with someone else.
