This is a new contest type we'll be trying out on SA! Rather than soliciting ideas or getting people to make new stuff, this one will be encouraging posting in a more... creative manner.
What Kind of Contest is This?
Every day, 3 unique and unusual words will get posted up in this thread. Your goal is to use those words within a post either that day or the day after. Ideally, we're looking for interesting and creative uses of the words - consider them like springboards!

How Do I Enter?

Make yourself a post below, with a tally of how many words you've used over the contest period, with a link to each post and the word used. You can only claim each word once. You can use up to three words in a post, but if you do, it'll have to be a good one. Valid words will be listed in the second post under this one, underneath the entry format.

In the end, the person who has used the most words wins!
Any Other Restrictions?

In the event that someone cheats around the spirit of the contest--by, say, having their character read each of the words off a spelling list every day--staff reserves the right to skip around them. Feel free to use adverb versions of words where possible. If the word in question is 'opaque', using 'opaquely' would be fine.
August Contest: Vocabulary Contest
Runs from August 21st to 23:59 EST on August 27th
