Morgan Ferris
Morgan Ferris was wandering around down, she had some shopping to get done, a few grocery's to pick up, and she also wanted to check out her favorite shoe store...

She had recently graduated, it felt weird that she didnt have to go to class anymore, and her apartment complex felt empty compared to her dorm building, she pondered moving back into the dorms as a Dorm Parent, she hadnt finished unpacking yet so itd be easy to move all of her things back to the dorms, and she had an outstanding record with the school as she served on Student Council for so long.

But Morgan was getting distracted she needed to focus on grocery's, what all did she need.... Pasta, some milk, defiantly some of that Chobani Yogurt, maybe shed get a bit of soda aswell... oh! And some box wine to break in the new house. Morgan approached the grocery store with all this in mind...

Well this is great.” Hudson muttered to himself as he paid for his drink at t he check out. “Lost again, this is becoming too much of a habit.”

Looking up at the check out clerk he noticed that they were looking at him funny, and this was when he realized he had been talking out loud. He had only stopped in to get a drink and the check out line had been annoyingly long, so now that he had finally reached the end of it his patience seemed to be running a little thin. The usually upbeat if not somewhat quiet farm boy was finally reaching his limit for the day and it was causing him to talk to himself.

Great, lost and everyone probably thinks he is crazy now. Could this day get any worse? he thought to himself. Sadly the answer was yes, yes it could!

As he was leaving the store, too focused on getting his drink open then paying attention to his surroundings, someone decided that this would be the perfect time to enter the store as well. Hudson had just managed to get the drink open when he crashed into this woman, spilling his soda all over his own shirt and possibly splashing some on her as well. He let out a cry of frustration as the fizzy liquid seemed to fly everywhere.

Great! Perfect! Awesome! Of course this would happen! Why not?!?!” He was not shouting but you could hear the annoyance in his voice, not at the woman but at life in general. Today, it seemed, had just decided that it was going to be a terribly annoying day and there was little Hudson could do about it! He sighed and then looked over at the person he had just crashed into and offered a hand to help her.

I... sorry about that, eh? You ok?”

Morgans mind was elsewhere and she bumped into someone, oh god! Was this an attacker! She quickly tensed up and clenched her fists, she heard the sound of a liquid being thrown and instinctively activated her powers, quickly summoning Glaceau and freezing any liquid before it could touch her, she had gotten damn good at using her ability's, she thought she was a master of them already but LeiLei's self defense classes had made her even better.

She looked up, whoever this was attacking her had better get ready t-... oh she just bumped into someone... shit this is awkward. She dismissed her spirit and took a deep breath, she hadnt been paying enough attention and ran right into someone.

"I apologize, I wasnt watching where I was going and ran right into you!"

He shouldn't really have been shocked when the pop that splashed near the woman started to freeze and crash to the ground shattering everywhere, shouldn't have but still was. The look that she gave when she spun around was also just a bit off putting, almost like he had almost been the recipient of a fist in the jaw or something. Things seemed to settle down though when she apologised to him as well, to which Hudson just shrugged and waved it off.

Nah, it is my fault too.” He took a sip from what little was left of his drink and then tossed the bottle into a near by bin. “I wasn't paying attention either. Bit of a bad day really as I think I kind of got lost. Again.”

Hudson looked down at his shirt and sighed, it wasn't as bad as he first thought at least. Most of it had missed his leather jacket and what did hit the shirt would dry soon, he will just have to do some laundry when he gets back. Wiping his hand off on his jeans he offered one to the woman in greeting.

Name's Hudson by the way, and again I'm sorry for running into you!”

Morgan quickly bowed her head, and shook the mans hand in greeting.

"My name is Morgan, Morgan Ferris."

She slipped back into "Student Council Vice/President Morgan Ferris mode, she was analyzing what he had said. Got lost again? Morgan knew her way around the island pretty well, perhaps she could help with that...

"If youre having trouble navigating the island perhaps I could help you navigate the island better?"

“It's a pleasure to meet you Morgan.”

Hudson thought about it for a moment and then just nodded, it was probably for the best. If he didn't have someone show him around the place then he would just keep getting lost. It didn't hurt who his new tour guide was either.

”Uh, yeah. I think I will take you up on the offer.” He smiles a bit as he continues to talk. ”I mean it is either that or I get even more lost trying to find my way back.”

He had to get back to campus eventually but for now a little tour wouldn't help, at the very least it would help him to get to know someone else on the island a little better. He had met very few people so far and while they all got along this was probably the most normal interaction he has had to date.

”I appreciate it.”

"Alright, to start perhaps you could go over some things in town you can already find on your own? And what things do you have trouble finding?"

Morgan pulled out her notepad from her bag, something she kept around out of habit back when she was still attending school, she was finished up with school now, but she kept it around as she still had much use for it. She awaited Hudsons response...

Okay, where was he actually familiar with? Well for starters there was the campus, then that Temptations place he had been to, and now this store. That pretty much summed up the entirety of his knowledge of the place!

“Er, well I know the school basically. I have been to the strip once or twice, and that is about it really.” He shrugged in apology. “Even getting back to the places I have been to is a bit of a chore. I think they are that way and... that way?”

As he said this he pointed out the directions he thought the school and the downtown strip were in, and while he might have been a little off it was pretty darn close.

“I'm used to wide open spaces and things being spread out a bit more. All this stuff crammed into such a small place just gets me turned around so fast.” Hudson looked around at the surrounding area. “Honestly I am not even sure how exactly I got here besides wandering around in circles for a while.”

He had thought about getting a GPS app downloaded to his phone, but then he would never learn how to navigate this place! Plus, what would happen if the battery on his phone died? This was probably the best option for him, to get someone else to show him around.

Morgan could remember how she first felt looking at a map of Manta Carlos, a messy welter of buildings and structures, but after some time she found her way around town, and now she knew the place like the back of her hand.

"I grew up in Chicago so im quite used to cramped streets. Id recomend keeping a phone handy with a GPS app, it would help a lot. If youre worried about battery life they sell portable charges at the store."

I was originally thinking about a GPS, but I wanted to try and learn the place on my own.” Hudson shook his head then grinned. “That didn't go so well though, so I might as well give in and download it.”

He was going to download a GPS now, but that was something he was going to do later. For now he had been promised a tour and that was what he wanted to focus on. The idea about buying an extra battery for the phone was also a good idea, but at the moment he was sort of strapped for cash so it would have to wait.

Still, a tour wouldn't hurt. Should at least be able to help me get to and from the campus without getting too turned around!” He paused for a moment before going on. “You're from Chicago, eh? Regina Saskatchewan for me. Well, a farm just outside of. Everything there was very open and you didn't feel so trapped like other cities.”

Looking about Hudson waved his hands about at the sprawl of buildings around them to indicate what he meant. It felt like the entire city was trying to crowd around him.
