Dorian was a man of innovation. As a man of innovation, he was always thinking of new things to reinvigorate areas he concerned himself with. It was innovation, determination, and business savvy that got him where to he was now. They say visionaries were only lauded after their death, but the concept seemed specious, and to some degree vain. After all, one only profited when others when others not only saw but understood why his visions were innovative in the first place.
As such, Dorian hoped to breathe new life into the modeling industry. Models were too often rigid with a following set of qualifications — they gotta be tall, they gotta be thin, with high cheekbones and a certain gaunt. But Dorian knew for a fact that the world outside didn't relate to this kind of beauty. They were foreign. They didn't see them in everyday life. Hence, Dorian decided he wanted to recruit a wider range of attractiveness... and their new girl was going to spearhead that campaign.
Olivia Mallon wasn't somebody people would think would be a model. She was pretty, of course, but muscular, and kind of rough around the edges instead of feminine and dainty like the others. She was a very, very promising recruit. And so, Dorian waited in his office as their set interview time drew nearer and nearer, chatting up the agent that was going to be representing Olivia — an intimidating woman named Carol, with a no-nonsense attitude that would stop at nothing to get them what they want.
