Polly smiled at her new friend as she was led over to the machine that had beat her previously. As she took her stance in front of the old cabinet and pulled out a quarter from her pocket. A bit nervously, she returned the thumbs up gesture before bending down to slide the quarter in. Her hand gripped the joystick as the game started, Olivia’s advice ringing in her head one last time before she gave it a go.

The next few minutes involved her scrutinizing the screen, going from bottom to top just as she said. Avoiding the pink and blue ghosts, of course. After a bit of a struggle, Polly managed to clear the first level with losing only one life.

"I did it!" She beamed, before looking back at Olivia. A bright smile spread across her face. "That was kind of easy! Thanks for the advice!" She looked back at the screen for a moment, before realizing the game was about to start the next level while spitting out the next ticket. She bent over, tore it off, and slid it into her pocket. Not doing as well the next round, but still going to try her best to beat it. "So um, I saw that there were some two player games around here. Did you want to play one with me?" She asked, happy enough with her accomplishment to not care that she had ended up losing all of her lives the second round.

"Well, we can always play a fighting game, they have a lot of them here at the arcade."

She looked over at Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike... if she had to assign some sort of honorific to herself, it would be "OLIVIA QUEEN OF STREET FIGHTER III 3RD STRIKE FIGHT FOR THE FUTURE". But Street Fighter III was the hardest Street Fighter game for sure, and defiantly a bad one to start with.

"We can probably play Street Fighter 4, that ones pretty easy to get into even though theres a lot of characters."

When Street Fighter 4 was just coming out, a lot of people said it would "save fighting games" and that it was "the best in the series", these truly where specious claims... Street Fighter 4, while not a terrible game, had numerous problems. By 2015 Ultra Street Fighter 4 was out and the roster was WAY too huge, and the game had never improved graphically... it was defiantly Olivias least favorite entry into the series, but it was a good place to start leaning fighting games.
