"You talk weird." Tenta pouted and might have started to cry at the second failed hugging attempt, and when they did speak again it was with a wavering voice.

"Are you scared of me? I just want a hug... I'm not going to eat you, I don't want to break you or anything...."

Being a child that wasn't physiologically bound by all laws of reality while ALSO being equipped to eat just about anything was hard. And lonely.

"Are too weird!" Tenta huffed and sort of snuggled the ground instead. "Weird and mean. Even if you gave me food. You're mean."

The black hole child poked at the ground with a tiny finger, and then took a handful of dirt and miserably ate it. At least eating made them feel better. A hug would be better but weird tall skinny guy was too mean for that.

"Well, if lots of people say it, maybe they're all right!" Tenta scrunched up their face at the annoying tall guy and turned away. "And even if I'm little, I can still eat more than you so hah"

It wasn't much of a comeback, but it was all Tenta had. They picked themself up, brushed some dust off their dress, made another face at Crow, and started walking away. "I don't want to be near rude mean people! Go away!"
