Darth Vader nodded and gave his daughter some space. Darth Vader knew the importance of style. The difference between a good villain and a mediocre one was presentation, in all honesty.

"I was going to make a speech about you joining the dark side but, please, go ahead. Make a one-liner. It better be good, honey."

June ran behind Wei, laughing victoriously as they went off with a sack of money. Really, if you're poor, this was a good thing. Gotta steal to eat, gotta eat to live, right?

Wait, that line sounds familiar. .. Whatever.

"Hold it right there ne'er-do-well!"

Suddenly, Coral and Tamara appeared in front of them. Tamara was wearing a blue dress with a black belt and her normal twin-braids were tied up into a high twintails. Coral was also wearing a green dress similar to Tamara's.

"Blossom, what are you doing helping that guy?! We're supposed to catch him!"

Suddenly June was wearing the pink dress similar to the two and he had this dumb ribbon on his hair. June felt like he can't follow this sequence properly.

Chloe nodded her thanks at Darth Vader for being so patient and understanding. She spent the next few moments deep in thought, but as time went on, she seemed increasingly annoyed.

"It's really hard for me to think with you breathing like that. Could you please stop?"

It took her a second to realize what she was suggesting. If he stopped breathing, he would die. That... kind of qualified as a one-liner?

"You know what? I'm just gonna kill you with this stupid light-sword so you'll never get to tell anyone how much I suck at trash talk. That sound like a good plan? Alright!" Chloe jumped towards him, feinting high and swinging low with her lightsaber.

Darth Vader shook his head in disapproval. What kind of daughter was she? She didn't take after him at all.

The sudden attacks were more familiar.

Darth Vader jumped backwards. He ducked to avoid the high attack and jumped to avoid the low one.

It was his turn on the offensive. Darth Vader started swinging his light saber up and down at her, then side to side. He was trying to push her closer and closer to the edge. He aimed to slice her hand off.

For a guy whose movements were so stiff, Vader was an incredible swordsman. Or maybe Chloe was just terrible - had she ever done any sort of swordfighting before in her life? It was getting more difficult to parry his swings - but it almost seemed like he wasn't even trying to hit her.

She tried to stab him and lost her balance. She forgot how shitty she was at walking with her new legs, and hadn't tried any fancy footwork until that poing. Chloe didn't fall, but she missed, and watched as Vader sliced off her hand. Her lightsaber plummeted into the seemingly endless abyss.

She fell over backwards, landing on her rear end on the narrow metal platform. "Owwww," she whined, the way a young child might whine if her sibling bit her. "That really hurt."

Dulce/Lust —> Invidia @"hyperhurricane"

Oh dear.

His daughter started crying, and the Ninth instantly started panicking. He didn't do weepy people, particularly females. He floundered about for several moments, jaw working to try and find what to say that would stop the damned tears from falling from his daughter's eyes. He made quite an amusing sight to those of his compatriots that had remained behind and saw him at such a loss for words. The First in particular was enjoying the show, though it only showed in the way his fuchsia eyes danced with hidden mirth.

All the Ninth could do, he decided, was to offer silent support to the girl. He wasn't sure if trying for outright comfort would break the tenuous truce they'd managed so far, but he also didn't want to do nothing, seem like a total jerk, and ruin what little trust they'd built anyway.

Darkened lavender eyes glanced down at the girl, and, even though she didn't meet his gaze, his own softened with rapidly forming fondness.

"They are truths you should have grown up with." He felt bitterness rise up, an underlying urge that called to his blood lust to make the woman-- or anyone, really-- who had harmed his daughter pay for what had been done.

That darker nature was mollified only slightly by the girl's claim, though he did lean down to nuzzle the top of the girl's head; the Lusts were very physical beings, and while that didn't necessarily have to mean sex, it did mean cuddling. Lots of it.

"Now then." He cleared his throat as he straightened. "Better introductions, yeah? My name had been Asmodeus, dear daughter, and I am the Ninth Incarnation of the Sin of Lust. And who is my darling daughter?"

Jace Nightray

An animalistic growl reverberated throughout the castle, causing its servants to wince and scuttle along, hoping to avoid the ire of their master.

The master suite, while once being something of magnificence, was nothing short of war-torn. Deep gouges littered the once gorgeous walls, portraits were ripped and punched through and utterly destroyed, and the furniture was scattered piles of what could only amount to kindling.

The whole back wall was made up of windows and a glass door that led out onto a dilapidated balcony.

In front of that wall of windows, centered perfectly, was a small, round table. On that table, was a glass dome that housed a delicate, blood red rose.

He watched with wild eyes as a petal floated pathetically from the rose.

Not much longer now.

==> Invidia > Dulce/Lust
@"Juraquille"

Vidia waited for herself to calm down completely before she turned to look at her father. It took a little longer of course, because those had been pent up tears she'd been keeping for a while now. Between the choice of having a permanently dead father or a reincarnated form of himself, she'd have to choose the latter even if it meant he couldn't meet her for longer than she'd want. She felt rather comforted by his presence now enough to calm her when he gave her a nuzzle.

Vidia took another glance towards Dulce before turning to Asmodeus, still rubbing her eyes from her earlier fit. "My name.. my name's Invidia," she said in a low voice. She looked up at him curiously, "What.. do you exactly mean by.. being the incarnation of Lust though? Are there others?" she asked inquisitively. She'd had played with the idea about being a demon of a Sin but.. they actually exist?

"Ah, I see. I suppose you should know about the culture from my country. Some groups prefer that the immediate family are the ones to help the departed to move on to the afterlife. It's tradition to be sure they travel so it's easy for me to understand your reasons." Allan said matter-of-factly, pouring tea into his cup.

Allan set the teapot back on the table. "And... no, it was mostly just my parents being practical. They really just wanted me to be in a professional field; I can understand them to a point, I guess, but it really wasn't in my interest.

Allan smiled when Seneca recognized his origins. Well, it was always easy to tell as far as he knew. "Not to be too.. narcissistic, but most of the time, we're pretty easy to work with." A beat, "The dead can be really touchy; I've had my share of ghost stories when I was kid. What kinds of people have you worked with, if I may ask?"
