As the kitten moved closer to nuzzle up to her, she had to adjust the way her arms were petting. Her hand between the kitten's shoulders moved down to scratch gently at his spine while the other hand continued ear duty, moving down a little to rub at the base of the cat's neck. "Is that good?" She asked.

Aeon was really glad that her dad hadn't come in and checked on her, because she had absolutely no way to explain what was happening right now. To anyone watching, it just looked like a boy was sitting with her on her bed, pressing against her insistently with arms around her waist.

Awkward.

But she pushed that out of her head and focused on continued petting. After all, there was nothing illicit about what they were doing. She was just petting a cute little ghost kitten. Wouldn't anyone else do the exact same thing if they were in her shoes?

Of course they would.

Whatever thoughts were going through Aeon's head, Audrey didn't notice or particularly care as long as they didn't interrupt the petting. The glorious glorious petting. Such wonderful petting. He would have to remember where this place and this marvellous petter were in the future. He would come here lots and lots and lots.

After things shifted and he had to leave, but before then, a nap.

Yes, the ghostly cat-boy fell asleep on Aeon with no warning, not even a miniature yawn; he simply went from purring with a lazily twitching tail to snoring and limp.
