"Did you even attempt to speak up?" Daniel asked, leaning back. Yun had tried to convince Daniel to let him spy on the other candidates, but the libriomancer turned him down time and time again.
"To Norma? ... Yes, actually. Three times. Before things started burning. They didn't clue in that the voice was in the room at all, and when the friend poked her head out into the hall she slammed the door before I could get to it."

Daniel frowned. "I see, I see. And I suppose that you're here with some big revelation about their campaign to tell me that I can use to get a leg up on them?"
"I see how that could be a problem for you, but how does it involve the campaign?" Daniel adjusted his glasses. "And why did you wake me up for it?"
"That...is a fair point, but we really can't do anything about it until they start talking about it publicly." The libriomancer pointed out.
Daniel frowned at the cat. "Yun, that's still dishonest, you know I didn't want to use your powers for evil."
