Today is earth day. Thus, I thought with specter kicking around it would be fitting to have a mini-event of sorts in which several students protect the environment from pollution and destruction at the hands of Specter. The plot would be as follows. Looking for new ways to tap the magic energy of the earth without destroying it as they do other worlds, Specter has launched a "pilot program" for their sinister Gaia Extractor facility that is already in use on countless other worlds. To that end, they have built a small-scale Gaia extractor in the ocean near the coast of the Island and the effects are already starting to be felt. Toxic, black sludge has being dumped into the water. A putrid smog is belched up into the sky, and the local environment is already starting to feel the effects of the pollution. Even further, the black sludge has mutated many of the sea creatures, transforming them into monsters that have started attacking civilians on the island that wander too close to the coast.
At the behest of the Manta Carlos Environmental Conservation Department, several Students have been recruited out of the academy for one mission: take down the Gaia Extractor, stop the pollution and take it down before it can start sucking enough magic out of the planet to do worse damage to the environment!
Anyway, if anybody would be interested in doing this event, it would last from today (4/22) to this Sunday (4/27). So, would anybody interested in blowing up an evil factory in honor of earth day?
