Appearance Description: You'd think that nature made Lance look the way he acts. He has solid black hair that he often styles in a flip, but sometimes just down and messy. Although not often appreciated, Lance's chocolate brown eyes are lovely to stare into. He clocks in at 5'6 and 135 lbs. He's thin, but not noticeably skinny. When he's not solving cases, he's working out, with some muscle on his arms to show. He also has strong legs, and although he's a book lover he is in very good shape. He likes to wear darker clothing mostly in colors like black, brown, burgundy or forest green.He never goes anywhere without his dark gray dog tag, with his name on it. He also often takes a dark colored messenger bag or backpack with him, to carry his things. In his wolf form he is black with streaks of dark grey, and weighs about 100 lbs.
Personality Description: Lanslo would be an intelligent child, even without his power. One of the first things you'll notice about him is that he is a detective. Ever since he was young, he wanted to solve crime cases, and he acted like a true detective. He walks around in a trench coat with a magnifying glass, and note pad and pen. His is quiet an observant, always analyzing situations before taking action. He's not a very take charge kinda guy, unless it involves using his awesome detective skills. (yes, he's actually good at his dream!) He's not a ladies man, but he does like girls, but is shy around them and can never say anything very interesting. More than likely, he'll ignore them, and then sneak glances at them when their not looking. Besides that, he never finds it necessary to talk a lot, and would rather watch, and think, being quiet all the while. In wolf form, he keeps the same attitude and thought system. he doesn't hang around people often, and when he does, they are quiet but fun people.
Powers: Major: Lycanthropic Abilities- Lance can shift between human and a a British Columbian wolf. In this form his coat is black mixed with some dark grey, and he weighs 100 lbs. Even in wolf form, he thinks how he would as a human, making it a very handy power. He can turn shift into wolf, almost whenever, except for when he's very tired, or lacking nutrition. Depending on how long he stays a wolf, it can make him a very tired, and hungry human, who needs rest. Usually this only happens if he stays a wolf for an amount of time such as a few hours. Switching between human and wolf quickly and constantly gives him a headache, and he avoids it as much as usual. There is not such thing as "in between" in his power. Minor: Intelligence. He is smarter than the average person, and has a good memory. He is able to solve hard problems quickly, and make good decisions, even under pressure.
Biography: Lanslo was always a quiet child but growing up watching the great detectives, he decided that was what he wanted to do. When he was six, his little sister Janice was born, and he couldn't be more thrilled. Despite her crying and "strange ways" as the six-year-old called them) their parents would often find him observing the little baby, and writing about her habits. As he grew older, he would talk on and on about cases and methods to his Mom and Dad, and friends, who knew that he had a talent for being a detective. He would plot and scheme in his room, often with his friends, and come up with all sorts of little mystery adventures to go on. He spent his time reading books, analyzing data, coming up with methods, and observing anything of interests. He read documents and articles, watched documentaries, anything that would help him in his path to being a detective. As time went on, his parents came to realize that their some was not normal. He was extra smart, and they went to go see a doctor about. They said that Lance was a special case, and that he had a special gift. Mr. and Mrs. Collins were so proud of their son, but little did they know, that he had another power, yet to be discovered. When he was 10, he was out playing under a tree, when suddenly he got a strange vibrating feeling. He went to go tell his Mom, when suddenly he fell. Everything went black for a second, and he opened his eyes. He realized that he was an animal, not a human, and he screamed. It, however came out as a howl. His mother looked out, and saw that her song was no longer under the tree, but a small black wolf was there instead. She was calling her husband, when the wolf starting shaking, and suddenly, her son was human again. Once again they took him to the doctor, but he had no idea what was going on, and figured it was supernatural. After a while, Lance learned to control when he shifted, and also proved that he kept the same mind set. He would take his sister for rides, (when he wasn't teaching her how to be a detective) and she loved it. He continued to be quiet and thoughtful, and kept his detective dream. He doesn't use his shifting abilities often, because he's afraid of scaring people. His parents received a a letter from their doctor recommending the academy, and after Lance agreed, they packed him up and sent him.
Worst Memory:Getting braces. he thought it ruined his "detective" look. (Now he's got a killer smile)
Best Memory:(1.) Janice being born. (2.) When he turned fourteen, his parents took him to a mystery dinner on a train. He worked hard, observing clues, meditating on data, and solved the mystery before anyone else. The staff was so surprised the gave him an extra piece of cake. (Which he shared with his family)
Likes: Trench coats,magnifying glasses, detective books and movies, popcorn, writing and reading. Also, finding and solving mysteries, libraries, and quiet people. As well as challenges, and riding his bike.
Dislikes: Paper planes(they disturb him deeply) spiders, and tons of pressure
