Fliers and Felines

Yun nodded and hummed to himself a bit as he read, tail tip flicking from time to time. "That's more convincing to me. A little disorganized still. Needs some reordering, otherwise some points are just going to fizzle out or not work at all because they haven't had the right preparation." It was like a spell. Yun worked with runes and circles, and if they weren't designed quite right then the spell wouldn't go as intended.

"It might help to split all of your information onto cards or something, so you can move them around and see how different orders work out. I didn't get very far into magic design before... well. You know. But the principles are pretty similar, and the card thing is a trick from my teacher. Most of the magic I know she designed, and it's quite effective."

un nodded, although some of his confidence wavered when Danny started writing things down. Since when was he a teacher? People took notes when teachers talked, not students who couldn't even use their own powers.

He gave himself a quick mental shake. Whatever. Danny was weird, he'd do what he wanted. "Yeah. It saves you from redr- rewriting it over and over, although there are benefits to that as well once you have the base layout established." Words were written, runes were drawn. "It doesn't have to be cards, I guess, but they're easy to make and easy to move."

Yun huffed at Danny. Yes he was being helpful but... well he wasn't used to people thanking him without sarcasm. There weren't very many people Yun could talk easily with.

"You're trying to do something in a complex system. Of course it's going to be hard." Yun rolled his eyes but interrupted himself with a yawn. "What time is it anyway?"

......... "Just trying to figure out how long I've been asleep." Not long enough, clearly, since he was still yawning. He leaned back, stretching his chest and shoulders as he yawned again.

"How long does this campaign go on for? Are there formal stages or is it pretty freeform?"

"Then you'd better stay organized. Freeform challenges make it easy to get off track, get distracted or something, and fall behind. When do you intend to be done designing these ads?"

Tch, this table was too hard sit on forever. Yun hopped back down to Danny's lap instead, settling himself so that he could still see the computer screen.
