Daniel yawned as he tapped away at his keyboard. He'd been sitting here the past few hours, working on his flier for his Student Council campaign. He had the basic design down, he just needed to tweak it a little.

He was vaguely aware of Yun sitting in the room, but he'd honestly forgotten about his shapeshifter friend. He was too busy working on his campaign.

Yun woke up gradually, soft noises first creeping into a vague dream about sleeping and then seeming more real than that. By the time he opened his eyes and stretched, no longer curled half on his back with his front paws tucked against his chest, he had come to the grudging realization that Danny was doing...... something.

He rolled over and walked to the edge of the bed, tail waving lazily behind him and whiskers twitching as he kept waking up the rest of the way "What are you doing?"

Danny was sitting at his desk, tapping away at his Macbook. He had a photoshop window opened, with boxes of text on it, moving things around.

He also had a stack of papers next to him, old fliers and campaign documents sitting in a messy pile. He turned around in his chair to face Yun, and adjusted his glasses.

"Oh, Yun. Forgot you were here. I'm working on a flier, i'm gonna run for student council." He replied, chuckling.

Yun snorted. Forgot he was here. Right. He wasn't that small of a glowing shadow. It wasn't like he had been completely hidden by blankets-

He glanced over his shoulder quickly. Actually... that was kind of a deep nest. Fine. Whatever. His tail flicked with a tinge of annoyance before he turned back to Danny. "Student council?" he asked curiously. Public education systems had so many oddities he hadn't run into before. "What do you have to do?"

Danny got scatterbrained when he was working, sue him. The libriomancer smiled, turning to explain. He'd been needing a break anyway.

"I have to basically convince people to vote for me, through campaigning and other such things." He explained.

"It's just democracy Yun, the school isn't a dictatorship." He chuckled to himself as Yun jumped onto his lap, his front paws on the table.

As he'd thought so many times since Yun started hanging out, Daniel was thankful that he'd spelled most of his things against fire.

The flier currently read "SILVER FOR SECRETARY" in big letters at the top, with a grinning picture of Danny underneath, along with a qr code, and some other links.

That earned another snort. "Dictatorships are more efficient, seems to me," he muttered. "Just harder to get rid of idiots. Probably." He squinted at the computer screen. "This is supposed to be a advertisement? I guess it tells people that you're running, but it doesn't make me want to vote for you. Why would you be a better fit than someone else?"

Yun hummed and hawed a bit, flicked his right ear a few times, and finally gave up and pawed at the computer, dragging a toe across the touchpad and pushing an arrow key until the qr code lined up properly.

That was better. Now it wasn't a few pixels out of alignment.

Daniel chuckled. "Democracy allows for a flow of new ideas and viewpoints." He pointed out.

"Yeah, It's still a first draft. The QR code leads to a page I made with more information."

The Libriomancer smiled as Yun fixed the page.

"Hey, thanks."

"A decently flexible dictator would allow that too," Yun said absently while he fiddled with the computer. At least this touchpad responded to his paws; some of the computers he had tried to use at the school had not been so accepting. He may have melted one such so-called touchscreen monitor at one point.

"What do you have on that page?" Yun hopped off Danny's lap and sat beside the laptop, tail curled around his feet so that the fire was away from the expensive piece of electronics.
