What would you like to see on the wiki?

I'm working on articles and tidbits about the school, so please, tell me what sort of lore, information, and etc you'd like to see on the wiki.

((Basically, anything you've ever wondered about the island or the academy))

I would like to know what the canon population distribution is. Such as, which supernatural creatures are most common, age brackets, etc.

It came up in the cbox: A thing on transportation. Cars seem implausible for the majority of the population, considering the fairly small size of the island and how much it would cost to transport them. Probably lots of bikes, portals, etc?

More infrastructure info. Police, hospitals, etc. Is there just one big hospital and then smaller clinics throughout the city? Same with police - I imagine there's one HQ and then smaller offices throughout.

A page on laws. There's a tiny thing on age of consent, but things like prostitution being legalized isn't in the wiki anywhere that I see.

Seconding what Thoth said. I would like to see ethics and laws elaborated on, and issues on that front. Manta Carlos tries to be open to all, but what about undead that need to consume flesh? There are some creatures dependent on eating souls/flesh, what do they say about that? Also, what about using magic in public? Opinions on dimensional jumping and time alteration? Is there eldritch and monster racism?? These are the questions that haunt me at night.

On the point of authority... Do we have a mayor? Or is the Headmistress actually the real ultimate authority on the island?

Internet and media. Do they have cable? Do we have locally made TV shows? Anz and I talked about this once, and the villains in some movies could be offensive to some races, so is it possible that Manta Carlos has a movie rating system that's inclusive to all races? Shit like, Warning: Demon Violence and Racism! What about the Internet?? Do we have a special server? One time, I said that the internet in Manta Carlos has a magical firewall that makes supernatural pictures and videos look like they're normal, but I'm not actually sure about that.

WHAT ABOUT FAST FOOD CHAINS AND OTHER MULTI-MILLION STORES AND CHAINS. Do we have stuff like Urban Outfitters and Chick-Fil-A here or are we strictly locally made? (What if there were some hush hush deals going on? Hmm.)

Is Manta Carlos linked to other governments? Is Manta Carlos keeping the unsavory from the world for money or... what??

I would like to know more about local radio, and television stations, what kind of shows do we have on manta carlos? Do we have any special film festivals or musicals?

Also I know a lot of characters have very complex backstorys that might not happen on the island, maybe the wiki is a good place to put stuff like that?

  • I would like to know about housing for college students, as in if there are places other than dorms for college students to reside in?

  • As well as if there is some type of more so common religious/spiritual beliefs that the island itself has.

  • Is there also things like a constitution/a set of different laws from the regular stuff that most countries have?

  • Thirding what Thoth and Poptart said in a way. Is there a history of some species/powers being disliked by some of the older people of the island?

  • DO some powers and abilities have to follow a special guideline system?

  • Is there centers or areas where people that have to wait to recharge their powers, can do so at an elevated speed?

  • Is the island itself magical? As in... say there is a whole in the ground that someone made. Does the island overtime fix itself? If there isn't something like that, is there a crew of people that clean up and reconstruct the island?

I've been thinking a lot about non-sentient species of flora and fauna on the island, mostly things in the forbidden forest. I've come up with a few, Manavoles and Werenaughts for example, and i could easily come up with others.

It does make me curious though, to think of things that were on the island originally, and those that were brought by others. What is native, what mutated as a result of magic, what beings were brought here and multiplied...
