Light, buildings, machines…everything the small dragon-like creature saw perked his interest. If it wasn’t for the strong grip the scout of this new island he probably would’ve already escaped from their arms and wandered off somewhere to try and find out how things worked. Being locked in a dark basement full of dusty old artifacts wasn’t the greatest way to spend nearly his whole life, and obviously was enough to make anyone get bored out of their mind.
The small wings on his head kept flapping tirelessly the whole way from the boat to the academy, but they suddenly stopped and soft whimpers escaped his white muzzle when they entered in one of the buildings. At first he felt like curling up into a ball and try to bite the arms of the one being that held him, afraid of being locked yet again just in a different location, small droplets of in started to form on his body’s edges and going down the white bits he had in a nearly-melting way, but never dripping to the ground like they apparently should.
He didn’t even noticed where they were heading until a…uh…creature he couldn’t fully identify, rushed past them in a hurry holding some papers, snapping him out of his pre-panic state by accidentally brushing against him. It wasn’t until then that he noticed that they were in a place full of many creatures. Some he could identify, others not, and the rest he wasn’t exactly sure. His little head wings started to flap again as they went from a hall to another and finally inside a room.
When the scout set him on a comfy chair he just looked at him with puppy eyes. He understood a bit of what was said to him, he was able to catch “Stay here” and “Won’t take long”. However, probably because a mix of his young age and some not-so-pleasant memories from his far past, his head wings to immediately drop and whimpers to leave his throat once more as he disappeared behind a door, he had no idea he was probably just trying to fill up the papers he couldn’t fill up thanks to his mental age.
