Extended Lifespan - Being a cyclops, Issyko will live for thousands of years.

Enhanced Senses - Supernatural hearing and sense of smell; her nose is about as strong as a bear's and their hearing as strong as a moth or a bat.

Supernatural Strength - As a cyclops, Issyko has immense strength from her natural massive size, though it's not as great as it was before the curse. Her cyclops strength allows her to lift up to 5 tons normally and up to 10 tons when full of adrenaline. As a result of this condensed strength, Issyko has to eat 3-5 times as much food every day; if she lifts any more than 4 tons, she needs 2-3 times the amount of rest to recover the energy.

Supernatural Intelligence - As a cyclops, Issyko is fairly intelligent and learns quickly. This ability is enhanced if she exposes her bald head to the sun.

Heat resistant - They’re heat and fire-resistant and can survive in hot conditions considered lethal to a human.

Cyclopsian Eye - Cyclops have a single eye that can see through all but the strongest illusions and glamours. A cyclops’ eye can regenerate if minimally damaged such as by a scratch or a light spot, but if severely damaged, they’ll go blind. A cyclops can only be killed by separating its eye from the socket; at the end of their life cycle, their eye droops and loosens until it eventually falls out. Should a cyclops be killed any other way, their body will heal completely in a week’s time, and if their eye is untouched they’ll rise again.

Animal Bonding - Animals and animal shifters (when in their animal form) naturally find cyclops easy to trust and safe to be around. Non-shifted shifters won't feel the effects of this power. Cannot be controlled.

Illusion - Issyko has the power of illusion, but only in one form. Her illusion makes her appear to everyone as a normal, two-eyed human girl. It’s a constant passive and can only be shut off by a power bracelet. She can’t control the illusion, nor can she actively make any other illusions.

Loud noises are very painful to a cyclops and their enhanced hearing, and strong odors can bother them greatly to the point of vomiting or passing out. Their eye is also very sensitive; bright lights and reflections are far more painful for them than others. Cyclops are weak to pure gold; they still take more damage when struck by anything that has less than 99% gold content, but significantly less the more impure the gold. They're weak to the cold and ice.

Cursed - Issyko was once several stories in height, but a curse was placed on her that shrunk her to five feet tall. Nothing else seems to have changed; she retains the enhanced senses and powers she had as a cyclops, and her strength, while not as immense as it once was, has been condensed into her tiny body.
The only way to remove this curse is through a very special ritual; it can’t be nullified by a power bracelet nor anything similar.

Born Issyko, a giant cyclops living in the Bavarian Alps that looked down upon the human civilization below. She fell in love with these tiny humans who nicknamed her ‘Ithaca’ and called her a myth. Issyko dearly wished she could be a human so she could run and have fun with all of them too. Her wish grew so strong that she found a witch and asked her to turn her into a human; the witch transformed Issyko, but instead of becoming a human, Issyko was merely a shrunken cyclops with her one ugly eye.

Found by some humans since the witch threw her out and she couldn’t turn back, she was thought to be a mutated abomination. She was named Minalora by the villagers who found her. She was treated horribly even by her adoptive parents, to the point that she ran away and never looked back. Her immense distress manifested in her powers of illusion, changing her one-eyed appearance into a pretty two-eyed human, and her problems were solved. So she thought.

Taking up home in a town several hundred miles away, she received a letter of invitation from the Starlight Academy. She accepted it and packed up, away to the island

Lives in the school dorms and has no official job nor any family or supporters. She gets a paltry sum of money from doing odd jobs; she tries to save her earnings for things that appeal to her, such as cute clothes or new bed sheets.
