Argya smiled, nodding respectfully “I would love to go to your workplace” She tilted her head a bit when she saw the worry on the girl’s face, wondering what was happening, almost laughing with the next question “My species has three forms, our true form, this one, animal form, mine’s being a white tiger, and our human one” She answered before quickly shifting to her human form s the silver light enveloped her once more.

She looked at her with a smile, her clothes transforming with her was always helpful to avoid awkward situations “Would you mind to lead the way? I’m still learning how to move around this city” She asked, almost embarrassed, as she felt that she should’ve learned to move around by now.

Eve took a surprised step back when Argya transformed again. She watched in a fascinated manner, chuckling a few times because she felt like she was suddenly transported into the mythical world.

"Beautiful," she muttered again. She complemented Argya's human form this time, with the same palette for the hair and eyes, same everything except for the fact that she was now human.

She was a little bit surprised when Argya asked her to lead the way, because she didn't really mean that they had to do it today... Though of course, she'd be happy to take her there.

"Of course, dear. You aren't busy for the afternoon?" she asked, turning to the direction of the exit, though she remained beside Argya. "I usually just walk around town. I hope that's okay with you."

Argya felt a bit dumb when she noticed the mistake that she had done, apparently she still had to adapt a bit to the human world after all. It wasn’t like if she was too surprised anyways, even after living between them for a couple of years she still was a bjartskular at heart. She just hoped that the woman wouldn’t feel pressured to take her to her studio right away now.

“No, I’m not busy” A good thing of coming around in this time of the year was that with the school in summer vacations, she could get used not only to the academy, but to the islands as a whole. Yeah, she knew that she still could go to summer classes like a lot of the students that entered late like her did to catch up, but she didn’t mind taking it easy instead of being constantly worried about that kind of stuff.

“I’m more than ok with it. But would you mind some company? Apparently you had been living around here for a while and I would like to know if you’re willing to help me to get to know this place” Argya wouldn’t mind if Eve rejected her request at all, they had barely met each other a couple of minutes ago after all.

But Eve didn't mind. Actually, when Argya asked her, she beamed at her brightly and immediately nodded. "Why not?" she answered. "To be honest though, I've only been here for a couple of months myself, and there are things about this place I'm not yet familiar with. But I'll be happy to give you some company while you try to get to know the island. We can discover things together! Ah, that came out lame..." And then she laughed.

Eve guided Argya downtown. As they walked, she pointed to the places and shops she's been, like the cafés and some restaurants and pizza shop. She told her a great deal about them, telling her to try some out, or where the food was the best, or what she found beautiful in them.

Soon enough, they were in front of an apartment complex. Eve's studio was just on the first floor, the first door, and Eve happily invited Argya inside. It was already fixed. What welcomed them was a gallery-like room, with finished and unfinished paintings decorating the wall and some of Eve's art materials resting in a corner. There was a smaller room to the left, and that was where her real working area was, and there's also the stairs to her private territory upstairs.

"Welcome to my gallery!" She welcomed her, stretching her arms to gesture towards everything around them. "Make yourself comfortable! Do you want some snacks?"

Argya laughed with Eve “Actually that would be cool, I could even let you see how these islands look from the air…if you’re not scared of heights, of course” Carrying a human on her back would probably make her feel like how her ancestors and companions felt when the truce between humans and bjartskulars still existed, when what they called ‘Dragon Riders’ were still a thing. She just hoped that humans had changed through the years and she shouldn’t worry for a second betrayal.

Argya paid close attention to what Eve told her during the way, only interrupting from time to time to ask a question or two. The place was simply incredible ad she couldn’t help but want to try everything out, luckily for her she had a lot of time on her side to do it. Living for so long could be both a blessing and a curse, she loved being able to live through so many events and see so many amazing stuff during her life, yes, but one of the downsides is that she was going to outlive almost anyone around her, so she couldn’t allow to fall in love or grow attached to anyone as easily as they did.

When they entered to Eve’s gallery her curiosity skyrocketed almost instantly, looking around restlessly, trying to see every single painting on the whole place. When Eve talked to her, her attention returned to her immediately “Hm? Oh, sure! Throw what you have at me!” She wasn’t sure of what Eve considered as snacks, after traveling across so many countries she had learned that each country had different snacks and so she wasn’t sure of what she could expect. Not that she really cared though, she was always willing to try everything new they gave at her.

Eve found her amusing. Not many people has gotten to see what her studio looked like, since it's only been a couple of weeks since she got to fix it with a friend and opened it for visitors. So she was really thrilled with that look on Argya's face.

"Let me grab some upstairs. I'll be back."

She headed inside the smaller room and went up the spiral stairs inside. Her apartment was upstairs, and she headed straight for the kitchen, passing by the receiving area with the large red couches and through a small hallway with wide windows draped with beautiful and long red curtains. She grabbed the large cookie jar she's been saving, and put all of the chocolate chip cookies inside onto a large bowl. And then she prepared some cold chocolate drink for the two of them. Setting them down on an oval-shaped wooden tray, with fancy etching on the handles, she hoped Argya wouldn't mind such sweet snacks. Eve had almost nothing but sweets for food beyond the main meals, her sweet tooth can't help it.

She was also thinking about what Argya said before they came here. About her riding on the beautiful creature's back to see the skies. She wanted that, of course. She was fine with heights. And she was wondering if she could make another painting for it. She's been so concentrated on aesthetics lately but hey, it's why she's in this island in the first place.

"I'm back!" she announced as she came out of the small room, carrying the tray with her. She set it down on an empty wooden end table, before grabbing two chairs from another corner so Argya could take a seat if she wanted to. And then Eve would join her. "I hope you don't mind sweets, my kitchen is full of nothing but them at the moment," she said, grinning sheepishly.

When Eve walked away to fetch some snacks, she took the small liberty to walk around the place, her eyes scanning the paintings of her studio, she was fairly impressed to see so many different styles and techniques gathered in one place, the smell of mixed kinds of paint only making more obvious how talented she was with the art that she had here.

She could recognize some of the scenarios in the paintings, she hadn’t been around Manta Carlos for too long, but just long enough to get to know certain places, as well as some places around Europe, America and even a small fraction of Africa. Yet, she couldn’t recognize others, wondering if they were real or if Eve made them up completely.

She raised her head when she heard Eve’s voice, looking at her as she walked in with a large bowl full of cookies and two drinks with a milky-like consistence, the small coon allowing her to know that they were made of chocolate. Well, weren’t these the sweetest snacks? She politely accepted the seat, grabbing a cookie “Not at all, I’m fairly surprised, in the good way of course. Usually most people only have non-sweet snacks, so this is an interesting turn of the events” She took a bite from the cookie on her hand, immediately enjoying the sweet flavor of it.

“I couldn’t help but notice the wide variety of techniques and paints that you use, I must say that I’m impressed. Even between my own kind, mastering just one or two can be fairly tricky and you, well, just look around us!” She wasn’t sure of how humans could master so many things in their short life spans, achieve so much in so little time, another reason of why she respected them so much.

“Also, hum, all those paintings are based on real things, or you made up some yourself?” Her gaze fell on some of the painting that she couldn’t recognize before drinking some of her chocolate drink.

"Ah." Eve sat down as well and grabbed a cookie herself. She was relieved sweets were okay, since most people didn't like it as much.

Munching on the chocolate chip, she listened to Argya as she also looked around at her paintings. They all looked like they were taken out from the mythical world, from a fiction book, and she laughed when Argya pointed it out. "I don't like realism, see. While I can do it, I think it's already the camera's job to capture scenes from the real world, and unless something isn't worthy of a canvas, I won't paint it," she replied. "I base most of my paintings on solid things though. And then add any kind of fictitious element on them, to keep them from being purely realistic. And, well... about the paint, I've been painting my whole life so I ought to know them somehow right?" she offered another laugh, and then finished the cookie. "What about you, Argya? What kind of art do you make? You sound like you make some yourself, after all."

Hm, so a mix of realism with fantasy, now she understood why those paintings looked like if they were taken out from a dream. She could easily guess why she had been sketching her now. Yeah, she was as real as she was, but most humans would just look at a painting with her on it and they would immediately think that the whole thing was just fantasy.

She couldn’t help but chuckle a bit, she hadn’t brought her guitar with her that day, but she still had her little notebook with notes and lyrics. She took out the colorful notebook and handed it at Eve “I may not be good at drawing or painting like you, but I like to play the electric guitar, making up songs from scratch and maybe even lyrics for them from time to time” She explained, just so Eve could understand what was inside that notebook.

They were two completely different artists, it was pretty obvious, but at least they still shared a passion for the artistic side of the world.

Eve took the notebook and eyed it with interest, before flipping carefully through the pages. "How lovely! I think I tend to cross paths with musicians because... I have another friend who loves writing music. But she plays the piano." She chuckled. She and Miya had to hang out again sometime, and they should probably drag Argya with them. The two might find each other a wonderful company.

"Oh, we have our own talents. I'm not good with music, so we're even." She laughed lightheartedly. "I'd love to hear you play sometime."

After checking it out, Eve gave Argya back her notebook before munching on another cookie and getting her drink. Sweets were really delicious, no doubt about that.
