Coatzin listened to the girl carefully, she could understand perfectly how she felt when she discovered that she wasn’t the only one like her on this world, but it was kinda sad that she had to leave her girlfriend behind to meet said people. For a second she considered asking about this, but she soon went against the idea, there was no need to upset her by asking the wrong question on the wrong moment after all.

“Well, let’s just say that after a long life of being overprotected by my dad I kinda wanted to open my wings and be free for a while. Also you must admit that coming to a school full of all kinds of creatures with all kinds of powers is incredibly cool!” Ok, it was her turn to ask a question…hum…oh! Got it! “Talking about that, mind if I ask what kind of powers do you have?”.

Coatzin listened to the girl’s words, fruit and vegetable manipulation? Well, wasn’t that an original power? She just chuckled a bit as a small idea popped in her mid “I bet that your powers are the greatest envy of any skilled chef on Earth! I bet that with those you would easily become the best chef on the history if you wanted to” Coatzin couldn’t help but be curious about how her fruits and vegetables tasted like, she was always curious of anything new around her anyways.

“I have healing powers, that’s why I’m studying to become a doctor! I also have a small amount of control over light, so I can manipulate it to create optical illusions or actually produce it” She skipped the animae commuta spell mostly because she really didn’t know how to use it at all, the only thing I knew was that the medallion would allow her to use it if she did.

Coatzin patted Kiyana’s back in a friendly way, her friendly smile never leaving her face “Don’t worry, I would never use my powers against anybody unless I have no other option, and even then I wouldn’t try to harm them” She fell silent for a couple of seconds before an idea came to her.

“Actually, what I like to do with my light powers is something like this” She focused a bit and started to mess with the light surrounding them until the distorted light started to show the colors of the rainbow, moving and swirling around them like if it was alive. It was a pretty basic illusion that would be instantly broken if it touched anything solid, only made to look pretty for a short time before it vanished.
