Snow just looked at the boy with a gentle animatronic smile, listening to his words “Don’t worry about that, Sky, If I were-e-e needed somewhere else I would know it a-a-almost immediately and I would say it to-to you” The good part of the busiest part of the day was that all the animatronics were active and working, entertaining the kids of the pizzeria, so she wasn’t that needed around after all. And if any employee needed help with their own tables or by greeting anyone like she did with Sky she would notice it almost immediately.

“I spend almost all the day wi-wi-with children, yes. I love playing with the-em and their parents, as we-e-ell as making a grown-up day a bit better if I can. So-So-Sometimes people can be a bit mean-an to you when you work in my-y-y position, but I don’t really mind, I’m willing to-o endure a whole day of mean treatment if I ma-make only one kid smile” She was extremely careful to avoid mentioning the nights at the pizzeria and her terrible actions during those dark hours, the only secret that she would keep forever hidden from Sky if possible.

Sky took a few more bites of his pizza as he listened to Snow's story. He gave him a smile, and leaned closer to pat her on the arm. "You make more than one kid smile. And you make me smile. If it weren't for you, I probably won't be comfortable around this place. Don't mind the mean people, they're everywhere."

He sure wished Snow could take a smaller form. Somehow, he could empathize with her easily. He stood up briefly, pretty sure nobody would notice, as he opened his arms for the animatronic. "Want a hug? Think of it as me cheering you on for your work, and for the reason you're still here."

By that, he meant that he kinda figured out she was probably a soul stuck inside a mechanical body. A ghost most likely. Of course, there was no way for him to be certain, but he was, in a literal sense, still an angel, and he had a stronger sense for souls.

Snow couldn’t help but chuckle a bit, feeling sincerely happy and proud of herself with Sky’s words. She was always happy when somebody smiled because of her, regardless of the reason.

She carefully picked him up, lifting him to her height, before hugging him, moving her ears in a rather cute way. She wasn’t completely sure if he actually meant that he knew what she was or if he was meaning something else, so she decided to not say anything that could ruin the friendship that she was slowly building with him.

She hesitated a bit before placing him down once more, she got hugged every day by kids, yes, but hugs like that one were extremely rare and were of the kind that she couldn’t help but wish that lasted a bit longer “You have no idea o-o-of how happy makes me to know tha-a-at I made your day a bit better”.

She was hoping to see him frequently around the pizzeria, but decided to keep that to herself, she didn’t want him to make him feel forced to come here every day, no matter how much you love pizza, there are always times that you want to eat other things after all.

Sky yelped a little when he was picked up, but he really didn't mind. He patted her when she put him down, and nodded. "I'm glad you're happy."

He sat back down to finish his other slice of pizza and his drink. The food was really good, and he'd visit the place more often from now on for it, but he'd do so as well for his new friend Snow. He'd want to see her again. "Alright, so how do I pay? I have no idea," he said, laughing sheepishly.

Snow chuckled and raised her hand in a ‘Just wait a minute’ way before walking towards the counter. She quickly introduced the data from Sky’s order to the system via Bluetooth and it did the rest of the work, giving a ticket at her. She walked back with it to Sky’s table and gave it to him “Here you go” She smiled in a friendly way “I hope to see you again around here someday, Sky”.

After the small goodbye she walked with him towards the exit, a bit sad to know that Sky had to leave, but there is always a tomorrow, and maybe she would see him again in one of those tomorrows.

~Time Skip~

Snow was chilling on the stage, letting her default programming to do almost all the work. Today the pizzeria was almost completely empty, thing that didn’t surprised her that much, especially at this hour.

She listened the door open and as a default action she raised her head and looked towards it. She widened her eyes as the face of the newcomer was scanned, Sky was back! She jumped off the stage and walked towards him “Hey Sky! Is nice to see you again!” She greeted cheerfully.

Sky was a little surprised to see that the pizzeria was having a slow hour. He looked around for Snow immediately, and once he found her, he waved at him gently and walked closer. "Hi, Snow! You don't seem so busy, does this mean I can spend time here with you?"

He was actually looking forward to come here again. And a slow day was favorable to him, because he wanted a long chat with his new friend. "I really wanted to have a long talk with you," he added with a few chuckles.

Snow smiled in her own mechanical way, Sky came here just to see her? That was so cute and nice from him! She guided him to the stage and sat on the border with him on her lap, since there were only a couple of clients around the pizzeria the employees obviously wouldn’t mind her to be talking with Sky at all.

“As long as we-e-e don’t start getting busy again, we can spend a-a-as much time talking as you want, Sky-y” She couldn’t help but wonder what he had in mind, and though she was a but suspicious about it already, given the small talk they had only some days ago, she wouldn’t rush anything and let him ask whatever he was comfortable with.

She obviously wouldn’t mind answering any of his questions, as long as none of these were related to the weird stuff happening around the pizzeria at night. That was a touchy subject for her and she would be a lot more comfortable if they didn’t touched it.

Sky felt a little awkward having to sit on Snow's lap, but he honestly didn't mind. If Snow wanted it that way, then why not?

"It's nothing important, really," he said, petting Snow on the head. "I just wanted to talk to you. It's probably not that good an idea since you're working, but I don't know when I can visit you if not during work hours." He laughed softly. He didn't know if he was being weird wanting to see her, but he wanted it anyway. It was very busy the last time, so he couldn't have had a decent chat with her.

"I guess I'm just curious about you, Snow. How'd you end up here in the pizzeria?" he asked.

Snow just chuckled a bit, ruffling Sky’s hair a bit “I’m always here to talk with you if you want, Sky” She said calmly, already expecting the next question.

“If you mean my mechanical self, just as the rest of my friends here” She said pointing at the other animatronics “But I guess that you’re asking about my other side, right? If that’s the case…it can be a long story, and maybe not exactly pleasant. Are you sure that you want to hear it, Sky?” She really wouldn’t want to scare her friend with the story of her death.

She looked around the pizzeria, just to make sure that nobody was looking at them. The few customers were too busy eating or chatting between them and out of one employee that was playing on his phone when he obviously had to be supervising the tables, everyone else was chilling somewhere out of sight.

Sky flinched a little when Snow ruffled his hair again, though he softly laughed about it afterwards. "I don't mind a long story, but I won't force you to tell me things you're not comfortable talking about," he answered her, mirroring her action just now by petting her head. He had to wonder if she could feel it. She had a soul but did she have humane senses? No matter, he'll treat her all the same anyway.

He noticed how Snow looked around before they could continue talking. He did the same, though only briefly, and then changed his smile into one that meant assurance. "My story isn't pleasant either, I'll take what you'll give me, and I'll give you my own if you want. I want to feel your soul, Snow. You've been through a lot, I bet. I want to be your friend now so you can have even more lovely memories after all that."
