Free Fish Fry [Event] [Open]

While his new... well, he couldn't in all honesty call this guy his friend. For one thing he was still calling him 'this guy'--Wei didn't know his name, and that was a big problem standing in the way of their otherwise burgeoning friendship. The other thing was that...

Uh...

Well, at the moment Wei was really stuck on the name thing.

"Yeah, I know," he said absently. "I used to eat fish with the head still on back home and no one batted an eye, but here?"

The monkey rolled his eyes.

"My name's Wei, by the way," he said. "I guess it's good for you to know exactly who you're helping."

Wei gave Mason a smile and wiped his hands off with a few sanitary wipes once he finished cleaning the grill. He reached over to the fish, seasoned it with salt and pepper and a seasoning mix he'd found in the grocery store, and skewered the fish, laying it onto the grill once he lit it.

"Woo, here we go...."

"Well," Wei said, turning over one of the spits as he seasoned another and laid it on to cook. "I figured that it's getting colder, and doing stuff like this is something you usually do in summer..."

He checked the first one. "So, I figure a little fish fry is exactly what we need to bring a little summer into everyone's icy fall."
