Donein continued to wait as the being got closer to him, and he decided to see how much he could control of this dream-realm. He attempted to summon a table, with two chairs, and was pleasantly surprised to see them appear. He took a seat, and waved his hand to bring a glass of some amber liquid into existence, taking a sip while he waited.

He looked up when the figure appeared, opening his eyes to reveal that one was a Garish bright purple, the other a deep coal black.

"Ca̶re to join me for a dri̷n̕k̡,͏ m͟y͡ dear?" He asked, his voice distorting slightly, like an audio error.

Pham Thi Anh Sang

With a bit of thinking, Anh Sang had managed to convert the fish around her into kitties. It was a little hard but she was really proud of how many she had managed to change. They were even cute! For the time, her goals had been rearranged to including changing every fish in the dream ocean into a cat and she was doing pretty well with that until a shadow suddenly fell over her.

She looked up. The cats by her feet scattered. A person with white hair was screaming at her to run.

She looked at the giant fish towering over them and thought I think that would look better as a kitty!

So she ran towards it.

Alessa had been following a cat for a little while, it kept changing what it looked like, but it was always very cute, and now it was a cat fish hybrid in a big lake. She tried to poke the fish cat.

"Fish... Cat... Meow..."

Her voice was very quiet and soft as she poked at the fishcat. She looked up and saw a very cute young girl. "Oh... im sorry..."

Pham Thi Anh Sang

As she ran towards the big fish, she jumped over the girl who had gotten in the way. Somehow the dream had given her super jumping powers, too. Neat!

"SORRY, CAN YOU GIVE ME A MOMENT?"

She really wanted to see what kind of cat this thing would become and resolutely touched it.

Alessa fell over in the water as the girl jumped over her, it was very shocking. When she landed in the water she didnt feel wet though... it was very strange.

"Sorry I got in your way..." she said in the same soft tone, the girl probably didnt hear her.

Compline

As the awful feeling increased, Compline had started to shake in fear. The door where the thing was lurking behind was obvious. The dreams around it was so distorted that she couldn't even fix it with her meager experience. The best thing to do here was one of two things: go get help, or rush in and get the job done quickly. The first one would have been better (by a lot) but that was ruled out for reasons she had already conjured up.

She took a deep breath, mustering a burst of optimistic energy, and hurled the door open as she prepared to fire a beam. "Y-YOU-!" But she was so scared and unprepared for the opposing aura of sheer bad energy that hit her as the door opened. She couldn't even fire off the beam she had readied and so stood in the door way, frozen and still pointing her hand.

She knew she wasn't supposed to feel fear. But this thing in front of her felt like all of the awful things she had ever known incarnated.

"No!" Lei wailed, picking the little girl up. "Save yourself! Narwhals are fake! FAKE I TELL YOU!"

She watched the fake narwhal grow pink fuzzy fur, and feared the apocalypse to come.

A moment after making contact, Anh Sang felt herself be picked up. She struggled a bit, wiggling just enough out of those grabbing arms to touch the big fish again. "No, it's okay!" she protested. "I can do it!"

To her delight, she saw a patch of pink fur appear, followed by more patches. Soon, the patches were spreading like a bad rash, eating up the old animal until it was changed into a giant, curled up kitten.

For a second, all was quiet. Then, it yawned, sending forth a giant gust of wind.

Donein started laughing as the...child pointed at him. Was she attempting to rid him from this plane? How rude. She obviously needed a lesson in manners. With a wave of his hand, a large armchair formed in front of her.

"Me? My dear, I do believe yo͢u̡ ҉h҉ave me mistaken with somebody else. Now, ͝w̨h͘y don't you come sit here and shàr̸e a drink with me like a civilized species̢."

His voice continued to glitch, his eyes changing as he stared at her. A portion of his face seemed to move to the right, while the rest remained put, though this immediately snapped back. A trick of the mind, perhaps.

Inwardly, Donein was smiling to himself as he felt the girl start to fear him. It tasted wonderful.
