Proxy felt something akin to joy as he bounced around from electronic device to electronic device downtown. Technology had come so far from his last emergence! What used to be clunky, primitive phones were now high speed computers that could receive and send data across the world in an instant giving him nearly unrestricted access to almost anywhere he wanted. Well, as long as it was on the island at least. Something, he wasn't sure what, kept him from jumping elsewhere in the world. He'd been poking and prodding at the issue but it was either technology beyond even his advanced understanding or something else entirely.

Still, it wasn't so bad being here. Even as his tracker blinked 11:00pm there were people all about, though he'd grown tired of peeking into their personal lives almost immediately. People were actually much more boring than he'd realized. Where he'd hoped to find secrets or potential tools to use against them he'd found things like [OMG did you hear what Zack did today at school] and other such mundane trifles. There had to be SOMETHING here worth looking at, something that he could finally settle down into and fulfill his actual purpose.

He paused for a few cycles in front of the family pizza joint. It was closed at this hour, but a few lights seemed to still be on. Maybe a late night exchange? He eagerly looked for a device to hop into and found a minor bypass through which he hopped into the building's security camera system. Now, what was going on here?

Snow was wandering around the closed pizzeria, she couldn’t feel physically tired since she was a ghost possessing an animatronic suit…but she was beyond tired mentally. It was during this kind of situations when she missed the ability of sleep that she had before she was murdered.

It was during this time when she suddenly felt an odd chill go through her servos and circuits, making her flinch a bit. Being so tightly linked to the systems of the pizzeria via Wi-Fi, she could easily tell that something was going on. She started to gather information as quickly as possible, wanting to know what was going on.

But she couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary, regardless of all the information collected from the systems from the pizzeria…but the sensation didn’t go away, there was someone…or something with her and she really didn’t liked that, not at this hour.

With 12 AM so close she only wanted to be alone, otherwise she would harm the ones around her, another thing to add to her memory files that would constantly come to taunt her and make her feel guilty.

“Hello?!” Her footsteps echoed across the hallways as she walked, trying to find the source of this presence, of this anomaly that she simply could explain.

Proxy took a moment to adjust to his surroundings, now this was much more like it. Electronic security doors, a speaker system, and cameras... so, so many cameras. He began to flick through them with interest when a projected voice surprised him. It had been something outside of the system itself, yet simultaneously tied into the programming... huh. He continued to scan the cameras and paused as one of the animatronics seemed to wander about on its own, checking the rooms as if it were...looking for something? Impossible. He thought as he began to probe and poke at the machine it was just a robotic toy for children to interact with, it couldn't possibly have- oh... oh wow that was some sort of weird system it had going on within its circuits.

He kept himself from immediately trying to jump into it directly. If nothing else he'd learned that things on the island weren't always what they seemed, and it wouldn't be great for anybody if he got stuck inside of a mascot forever. Instead he accessed the speakers and targeted the one closest to...her, yeah, it looked more female than male...probably. "Greetings?" he projected hesitantly, wincing as he got a little feedback from within the security system. "Is someone there?"

Snow perked her ears when she heard the voice coming from the speakers. She immediately turned around and started to walk towards the only place where she could think that anyone could use said system; The Boss’ office.

When she arrived she struggle with the door a bit, it was, as always, locked. She just sighed and looked around for an entrance to the vents, the only other way to enter.

“You really need-ed to get out o-o-of here” Her voice had small glitches, like always. She entered in the vents carefully, she knew that after the last time that someone got in they had placed several cameras inside the vents and that whoever was inside the boss office would be able to see and hear her traveling through them.

However, when she dropped inside the famous office…there was nobody there. She checked the door, still locked…this made no sense at all! “A-a-are you still here-e-e?” She was starting to get a bit nervous.

She really was hoping that whoever was in there had followed her advice and left before she could arrive to the office, though logic wasn’t exactly supporting that idea, there was no way that anyone could use the speakers outside from this room, and the door is locked, the only way to open it being the key that the boss always carried with him.

Also, there is no way that anyone could’ve went through the vents without her instantly noticing, after all, she was still gathering data from the cameras and there was no pictures of anyone going through them apart of herself.

Murphy watched in fascination as the animatronic tried the door and then clambered up through the vents to get to the office. He pondered for a moment why someone would be so paranoid as to install cameras in the vents before returning the view to the leapordess. "I assure you I'm safe er.. miss?" he ventured. "I'm just poking about, seeing what there is to see. To my knowledge most animatronic beings don't climb through vents, would you like me to unlock the doors for you?" he shifted around several camera angles in confusion and then frustration. Whomever had the cameras installed damn near everywhere hadn't bothered to install them in the managers office, were they afraid of something getting in?

It was as the clock clicked 11:50 that he felt something... weird. His entire purpose in creation had been to protect devices from being infiltrated and taken, but even here, fully tapped into the very heart of the facility, something was out there. He scanned around and found to his surprise, something scanning him back. He considered jumping away from the device, but his only option at this moment would have been to go into one of the animatronics and something about just seemed... weird. Instead, he pinged the scan to get its attention, and attempted to establish two way visual between himself and...whatever it was.

Snow was beyond confused now. She was in the office but nowhere was around…and the speakers still allowed someone to talk at her. She even forgot completely about the hour, trying to figure out what was going on around her.

“Hum…sure?” She looked at the doors, she felt a bit weird…usually everyone just closed these doors on her face, none had offered to open them before, but walking off would obviously be a lot easier than just crawling off through the vents again.

She perked her ears when she felt…an odd feeling, she really couldn’t describe it, but she knew that she was being scanned…but how? She immediately started to carefully try to find out what was poking at the systems of the pizzeria, she wasn’t sure if letting anyone know that she could control them was a good idea…

But she was being extremely cautious, if this was someone trying to hack the pizzeria for whatever reason and she lowered her guard they would be able to start getting info from her that would only serve to endanger the pizzeria, revealing many of her darkest secrets and her kills.

While doing this she had a couple of odd glitches that forced her to back off almost immediately, as her vision changed from her current angle to that of a camera around the place…this was a bit odd…

“What are-e-e you doing to the pi-i-izzeria’s systems and why-y?! What and whe-where are you?!” It was obvious that Snow was getting a bit nervous with the whole thing…what was kind of hilarious given what she was.

It was a dizzying sensation for the AI as he was suddenly shunted into the view point of the animatronic then back into the cameras. That... that was new. He remotely accessed the door control and popped it open. The hardware the thing was run on was archaic and inefficient, it looked like there was a specific allocation of energy allowed for its use? Was anyone really that cheap?

Something was odd about these machines, but they were interesting to say the least. Well, better than spending another night poking through emails of the students around campus. He tried poking at a few of the other robots and managed to worm his way into one, attempting to wrest control away from whatever it was that usually controlled them. Probably some two bit auto-script, he doubted it would pose much of an issue.

"My name is Proxy, miss." He answered, trying to cycle through the simple machine's capabilities. Much like the computer system, the machine seemed to have a bunch of different oddities to it, and he very much wanted to take a closer look. "I am inside of the computer system itself, and like I said, I'm just poking around. Nothing malicious I promise." It was a mostly honest answer, unless they had something that posed a threat to the majority of the island's inhabitants he would have no reason to share the information. Heck, he might even be able to quietly update their security before he left... leaving a backdoor for later access of course.

There didn't seem to be any people about, so why had the lights been left on? He flickered them curiously, seeing if there was someone in hiding that he'd missed. A moment's pause and a small but very important detail caught his attention, how was a simple animatronic talking to him and having a cohesive, if electronically stuttered, conversation. "Wait, are you... sentient?" He focused the cameras on her again, and manifested an avatar upon one of the viewing screens.

Usually he didn't bother appearing at all, but if he was dealing with another AI, then it was at least polite to reveal oneself when in another's system. He appeared as a mid teen male who's pale skin contrasted sharply with the darker-than-black business suit he wore. Out of habit rather than necessity he pushed his glasses up his nose and tilted his head curiously, watching her.

Snow’s ear moved lightly in an almost involuntary way when she heard the door open, feeling a subtle urge to run towards said noise…though she was inside the control office, so that wouldn’t need to be necessary for obvious reasons. However, this reaction made her react by quickly checking her internal clock, her time was running out.

“Proxy…I…you-u-u really need to get o-o-out of here now-ow” She wasn’t stupid, she already was solving the puzzle, and though she couldn’t tell for sure she was suspecting the Proxy was some kind of creature that traveled via technologic systems, but given her own abilities she wasn’t sure of how much damage she would be able to inflict to him…or vice versa.

“I’m just as sentient-ent as you are, for wha-wha-what I see” He looked at the avatar on the screen tilting her head a bit, this was definitely new, if midnight wasn’t this close by she would definitely try to chat with him for a while.

As she thought about this she felt that odd drain of energy around her circuits, just as the pizzeria’s alarm clock went off, letting anyone know that it was 12 AM. For a couple of seconds the faint glow of her eyes banished and her body went still, like if she had been deactivated. But soon after the energy returned and she blinked a couple of times, her once cute ice-blue eyes turning black with a glowing white dot as a pupil.

For the first time since Proxy arrived to the pizzeria, she reacted aggressively against his intrusion in the systems. Her knowledge about this place and how everything worked playing as an advantage…but she also had a couple of tricks under her sleeve.

She walked silently towards one of the many blind spots of the pizzeria, where no matter how much Proxy tried to locate her with the cameras, he would never find her at all. It was then when she started to summon those illusions of the golden version of herself, making them walk around the pizzeria, looking at the cameras menacingly, it would be fun to see how Proxy reacted to that.

Proxy raised a digital eyebrow, "Why would I need to leave? Is there to be a server shut down or something?" He was excited this was the first other mechanical being he'd encountered on the island, and she seemed to be a part of some really interesting tech. "What is your designation? Do you just function as and entertainment module or do-" The midnight alarm blared, briefly overriding his vocalization with klaxon alerts.

As the alarms dimmed he saw a momentary shift in her behavior, though perhaps her eyes changed to save energy? "Are you alright miss?" He ventured, though she slipped away into the shadows. No matter though he'd find her in the...cameras? He cycled through the available viewers but she didn't show up on any of them. The other animatronics did... had she found a blind spot?

It was then that he noticed another anomaly, out of the corner of the cameras he could see movement and when the figures eventually emerged it was clear that they were identical to the being he'd been speaking to. On second glance Proxy corrected himself, they were identical other than color, what was going on? "Miss?" he tried again, over the general PA system, voice echoing throughout the building. "What's going on? Are you alright?"

It bothered him that she'd just dropped off and was now engaging in some sort of smokescreen, and he reached out with his scanners to try and find her. The answer made him less than pleased; whatever the hell was going on made each of these...things ping as identical as her, but when he tried to jump into them there was nothing there. What kind of technological trick was being played here? Well no matter, two could play at this game.

He flipped through the options he had and queued up several actions at once. First the lights flickered before going out, letting darkness flood the restaurant. He wasn't sure if she could see in the dark, but if she was going to disable his ability to see through the cameras light would be useless anyways. Then he tried to jump into one of the other robots creeping around, surely they had SOME sort of computer he could lurk in and observe this phenomenon.

A dark mechanical chuckle echoed across the pizzeria as soon as the lights went off. Snow needed no light to see, and even if she did, she knew this place like the palm of her hand. She could feel him, trying to find her through the systems of the pizzeria. She was linked to them, yes, but she had more control over them than most people would expect, allowing her to almost completely block him from getting inside her systems.

And then he felt it, he was trying to get inside one of the other animatronics! At the beginning she obviously tried to block him, to keep him away from any of the ways he could have to find her…but then she stopped dead on her tracks and all the doors to the animatronics were left wide open for him to enter. After all, it would be easier to destroy him if he was inside an animatronic that she could reduce to broken steel and wires than if he was inside the pizzeria’s devices.

Just as an incentive to do so she started to act extremely aggressively against Proxy, not only with fairly invasive scan attempts, but also shooting randomly produced codes or trying to rip him apart, what would cause a severe glitch or even act just like a lethal virus if any of those hit an important part of Proxy’s own coding. She also blocked the pizzeria’s systems the best she could so he wouldn’t be able to just run off.

The only safe zone in the whole pizzeria appeared to be inside the animatronic suits that were currently in sleeping mode, but that was the bait, that was what she wanted Proxy to think, so once he ran off inside one of them, she could simply trap him inside and the just hint him down and rip the animatronic to shreds, and Proxy with it.
