What the heck is this?
Well, while I only have one character right now I figured I may as well start setting up a catch-all plotter for when I inevitable get bitten by the alt bug and make more characters. All of my characters are meant to simply be conduits for interesting RP so if you have an idea you want to try by aren't sure it'll fly? Go for it! Not sure if I'll be comfortable with a certain scene? Just ask! The answer is probably yes. I usually respond to posts in a timely manner but please understand that I am a mere mortal and thus am bound to the whims of reality.

What he's looking for...
A Rock: When your luck fluctuates from slightly unfortunate to utter disaster, your view on what is normal tends to get thrown out of whack. He's looking for someone who is calm, collected, but above all STABLE that he can cling to in times of chaos. While he himself may not be the most reliable ally, he's as loyal as they come.
A sunbeam: For much the same reason as above, Murphy retreats into heavy cynicism and paranoia when left to his own devices. A hopeless optimist, or just someone who can shove the metaphorical weight off his shoulders might just be what makes or breaks him.
A Peer: While not a genius, Murphy is well into college and working on his master's degree in mathematics. An equal or even superior with whom he can chatter on about higher level academia, regardless of their chosen field, is sorely needed.
A Rival: Maybe you're his inferior, maybe you're his superior, all that matters is that you're someone he's going to clash with at every opportunity, creating that delicious tension we all know and love.

An Introduction: While he suspects that something is 'off' about the island, Mathers hasn't had much chance to explore the island and thus is unaware that nearly everyone has unique abilities. I'd like to find someone to 'break him in' so to speak. Whether this is friendly or unfriendly doesn't matter to me but it WILL shape how he perceives people. The power is YOURS.
