Yeagar has hazel eyes with medium length blonde hair. There are a few scratches here and there on his face from what he won't say. Most of the time you can find some kind of cigarette lit in his mouth but he's polite enough to not be smoking when around those who ask him not to.
Most of his attire can be summed up as white t-shirts, jeans, and oil/grease. He lives in his mechanic shop and rarely leaves it unless he needs to go get food or talk with other mechanics around the Island.
Personality Description: Not one to beat around the bush and get straight to the point. Despite the things he says and the way he says it there is always a hint of concern or fatherly like mannerisms detailing from him. His smoking habits tend to get on people's nerves but to him it's just another habit. The best, and worst thing, is that he is almost always calm and collected with the same voice pattern showing almost no other emotion outside of what can be heard as annoyance. To those he considered friends or good clients he has a different tone altogether, though his sarcasm is still rather high.
Yeagar's main interest is engineering. He will sit there and tinker with an object with the upmost concertration. The things he can fix range from simple household appliances to vehicle engines as well as industrial machinery. He also has, which led to his discovery, the ability to flawlessly work on androids, cyborgs, and other such beings with the skill and finess as a doctor would on a human.
When someone who would normally show anger when pissed off, Yeagar just keeps his cool. There might be an explosion later on though he has been pretty much told he isn't allowed to blow up people's homes on the Islands for obvious reasons. So instead he'll just punch you in the face man or woman.
Powers: Yeagar doesn't have any powers. What he makes up in powerlessness is his intellect. If it can be imangined and built, he can do it if given enough time and resources. He isn't completely defenseless against those with powers though. He has built devices ranging from psuedo-magic, a personal barrier device, and his own weaponary. He does sell some of these items but they are very, very, very expensive and are self defense purposes only. Yeagar himself dislikes taking a life but isn't completely against it.
"Strong" - Genius Intelliect - Yeagar is a genius when it comes to electronics, mechanical devices, engeeniering, and anything that pretty much involves machines in some form or another. His work also includes repairing androids and cyborgs, even constucting replacement bodies while he works on the original so his clients can still go about their business if they need to.
His devices had made an impact to the point he only keeps a few in stock and only the richest people could buy them and they have a fail safe Yeagar can activate at anytime if he suspects his customer has ill deeds in mind.
Weapon Expert - Yeagar is no stranger to a fight nor forging weapons ranging from simple daggers to firearms to even weapons that have the ability to house magic within. He traied himself and with some of the combat instructors at Starlight so he could understand the weapons more and be able to personalize each weapon to their owner. He has a few which he keeps hanging on his wall in his shop.
Explosive Expert - If there is one thing Yeagar loves it's explosives. He has a bunker underneath his shop which he tests various explosive devices he has constructed in safety. He has gotten magical barriors placed around it to help protect the citizens. It's soundproof and most don't even know what he's doing down there. Yeagar could identify an explosive, the substances used to make it, the parts, and disarm it all in the same breath. He could also set it off if he felt like it.
Regeneration - Where it came from is unknown to even him but Yeagar has a strange regeneration effect within his body. Small cuts and scapes disappear within seconds, fractures are mended internally withing a few minutes to a couple hours depending on the injury. He cannot regrow lost limbs, but he does know he can take some organ damage and it'll repair itself within time. A failed explosive where shrapnel lodged itself and pierced through Yeagar's lungs, liver, and stomach yet didn't kill him proved that much.
His regeneration has also given him more insight knowing more about what the human body can handle and deal with.
"Weak" - For the most part Yeagar's biggest weakness is that he is just a normal Human with the same limitations as other Humans. What makes him different is he does noticably age slower due to his regeneration but that is about it.

Anything he could take apart and build into something new kept his attention for hours. As he got older Yeagar's intellect began to show as he started repairing a junk car from spare parts he found laying around on the street, at junk yards, and parts donated to his project. Within five years he put the car together and it worked just like new despite the engine being made entirely of spare parts and wasn't even an engine to begin with. This didn't go unnoticed as he was saught out by the military for his kn owledge and his general know how with machines. His response? "Piss off."
That was at age 25. Yeagar found a job at a a mechanic shop and worked with content. He got to work with vehicles, sometimes military vehicles as it was on a US Army base, take whatever spare parts he wanted and put them to better use elsewhere. At one point he even managed to almost build a walking and thinking robot. However it wouldn't work properly, or the way he wanted it to, and continued to work on it, improve it, and make it close to a Human as possible.
Believing him to have powers over machines Yeagar was saught out by Starlight to help with mechanical beings as well as general maitence around the Island. He asked for a simple mechanic shop, privacy, and to go about his business the way he wanted to. And to bring his robot with him. With those things settled Yeagar opened up his shop the Rusty Gear in Downtown Manta Carlos.
That was at age 27. At first Yeagar disliked the island community as it gave him little way of finding spare parts. This didn't become any issue as he was able to request supplies no matter how outlandish they were, to a degree anyway. He pressed his luck and tried to order a deactivated nuclear warhead but was given a giant No.
Yeagar didn't believe what the Island was at first till he met a certain individual. At first he believed it to be a simple homeless girl. He would leave out food and beverages for the girl time to time even going as far as to supply her with clothing and blankets. What struck him as odd was she never seemed to age. Yeagar had been on Manta for ten years and noticed that not once the entire time he saw her did she age. He let it go considering the strange things he had already seen on the Island.
What intrigued him even further was one day while dorpping off some food and water for the girl he noticed she had a scrape on her arm. Reaching for a bandage to cover it up to prevent infection what he caught was a glimpse from the sun of something reflecting from her arm. Curious he simply asked right out if her arm was mechanical. The response he got back was how well was he with machines. A smile formed on his face and Yeagar showed her to his shop and got right to work on fixing the damage, even smoothing it out and making the skin look more human-like. He figured that was what the girl was going for. When he offered to do any repairs for free all he got back was a name. Eli. He gave his and to him that was a seal of their agreement.
As per his agreeement Yeagar worked as a mechanic for anything brought into his shop. There was only a few rules he had that people slowly started to follow once they realized how serious he was:
Rule 1 - Don't waste his time. If you needed your toaster fixed he would fix it then charge you a huge fee for a simple fix. It was wasting his time he could spend doing something else.
Rule 2 - Don't touch anything. There are many, many strange and dangerous devices Yeagar has built over the years and has learned how to make mostly due to cyborgs, androids, and other mechanical beings living on the Islands. Magic and other scholars helped him with some of the devices too. So that strange grenade looking device he has hanging on the wall? Well it could very well explode. Or just spark and sizzle out. Don't test your luck.

Rule 4 - Don't mess with Rob. The robot from earlier? Well thanks to his encounter with Eli years prior Yeagar managed to finish the robot he started working on twenty years ago. Rob takes care of customers, money managing, etc. Basically manages the store while Yeagar does all the actual work. He doesn't mind.

He is able to change the color of his body at any time he wants but keeps with a more brown/tan look to go along with the name Rusty Gear. He is polite and knows a lot when it comes to things on the Island to the point of have a directory and database knowledge of every resident of the island, mostly due to Yeagar simply leaving a phone book out and Rob going over it.
Despite the more human-esq designs of some of the cyborgs and androids of Manta Carlos, Rob and Yeagar both prefer the design he has. To Yeagar it shows the amount of hard work with nothing to work with being put into Rob. Pretty much his heart and soul. To Rob it shows how much he knows Yeagar cares about him and wants the world to know what Yeagar is capable of producing without all the fancy gadgets in the world.
Rob does have combat capabilities, but they're more anti-theft devices. Tasers, stun guns, electro pluses designed to subdue a target. Now when it gets to leathal measures if its needed Rob has a minigun housed in the back part of his chest piece and an automatic gun housed in both forearm pieces. However these need to be installed before use, though generally Rob has a firearm in his right forearm with enough ammo for three full magazines housed. Rob isn't built for combat, just as more a friend/co-worker for Yeagar.
Inventions -
Psudo-Magic Grenades - One of the more difficult things to produce, Yeagar can harness and condense the power of magic within a grenade that will allow those without powers to use magic. However Yeagar discontinued producing these outside of requests from Starlight as they are highly unstable and require the assistance of a powerful mage to create.
Barrier Generator - Yeagar has only managed to produced two of these devices which he personally carries on his person and the other built into Rob. They were tested against firearms, magic, the elements, and explosives. They can take quite the beating but will fall overtime.
