After a while of flying over the blue seas Coatzin finally could see the Manta Carlos Islands getting closer. She knew that she could’ve taken a ship or any other kind of transport to get there, but she really loved flying and this gave her the perfect excuse to do it. She wasn’t going to deny that the long trip made her wings get a bit tired, and now she barely moved them at all, allowing the breeze to blow under them and do almost all the work.
It didn’t too her more than a couple of minutes to finally reach the islands, the academy on them silently greeting her as she started to descend, searching for a nice spot to land without much trouble. She had to admit it, she was fairly surprised with the great variety of students that the academy had, her interest growing bigger after each second that passed. She gracefully landed on a patch of grass a couple of meters away from the rest of the students, folding her tired wings and wrapping part of her tail around her waist and abdomen in such way that it almost appeared to be part of her clothing, before walking towards the main entrance, looking everywhere with curious eyes. She wasn’t surprised when she noticed that some students looked at her as she walked, probably they were just as curious towards her as she was towards everyone around her.
Her feet carried her through the halls of the academy, her eyes scanning the whole place and happily moving tail allowing anyone to know how interested she was. She stopped when she reached her destination, the admission office. She entered and sat on one of the free seats of the waiting room, putting her purple backpack down, trying to decide if she should try and make some friends or take out her Nintendo 3DS and play to pass the time instead.
