Argya looked at him without obvious interest. She could only imagine herself in his situation, stripped of everything that she owns and left alone to fend for herself with no option but fight her way through to survive somehow. This boy obviously had to go through a lot, that making her respect towards him grow, she was surprised to hear that he was still mainly fine both on body and mind after all that. She knew that a lot of people would fall into madness or corruption if they were forced to walk on his shoes.

“Lethal revenge may hadn’t been so necessary, my friend, but I’m none to judge you and your choices. Maybe there is something that you can understand and I can’t” She stood up and stretched a bit, feeling how the her fur was almost completely dry now, perfect “The path you’re taking is quite a hard one, and I wish you the best on luck in your journey, I really do” She said in a cheerful way “Also, if it is of your interest, from my point of view, even if you weren’t born as one you’re way more human than a lot of human-borns I met on my past”.

“Are you interested in taking a small walk with me or you have anything that needs your attention?” She had a lot of questions on her mind for this guy, and was feeling a bit more open to him after their talk. She wasn’t willing to just go on and tell him that she was a runaway princess, but she was more than willing to share other kind of info with him if he had the time and the interest to listen.

Finally his clothes where dry, he had pressed out as much water from them as he could so it was no wonder they where dry while Argya had been soaked before. He stood up to walk over to the tree and grab his jacket which had air dried and wasn't as heavy with water anymore, not that it was wet in fact it was quite dry.

"Since you listened and offered advice, who am I to deny such a request." A rhetoric question, of course he would join her in her walk and small talk with her, returning the favor of offering advice where he can. It was less about having good manners then it was that he actually liked her and not for her resemblance to the mythical beasts, even if they where the reasons he where drawn to her in the first place.

Argya smiled and nodded, waking towards her stuff. Now, she obviously couldn’t carry all that on her current form and she wasn’t going to ask her new friend to do it for her, as she considered that doing so would be a bit rude, so she just allowed the silver light to cover her once more, as soon as it vanished it showed her usual human form, and thank to the ancestors for her ability to shift with her clothes on, otherwise this would be quite awkward and uncomfortable. At the beginning she didn't really mind, but she had to learn that walking around naked isn’t something as common on the human society as it is between bjartskulars, they don’t really need clothes after all. And…well, after living all this time between humans he started to acquire some of these moral rules as her own.

She placed everything but her guitar on her pockets, and at the end grabbed this and placed it on her back, just like always “So, tell me Tao, is there anything else you want to ask or discuss?” She started to walk calmly across the lake’s shore, looking at him with obvious interest. If he didn’t want to ask anything else she surely could come up with a couple of questions of her own.

Ba-thump

Tao would walk besides her on following the shore and answering her question "No, that was all I came to think about and noting immediate pops up.". Picking up the random stone to use for skipping stones. Watching them bounce on the surface of the water, one after another they reached further and further. He inspected Argya, not in a weird way but more to see more of her for him to remember so that he would more easily spot her at a different time and place but...

Ba-thump

He felt his heart skip a beat again, not only did she have forms that resembled a few of the four mythical beast of his world and timeline, she was also interesting and intelligent and now when he really looked at her he noticed that she was hot.

Argya looked as the stone bounced on the surface, smiling a bit “Well, I have a couple of questions for you, if you don’t mind to answer them of course. If you feel uncomfortable just say it and I’ll drop the question immediately” She respected a lot the privacy and secrets of other people, she wouldn’t force them to tell her anything if they didn’t felt comfortable with it, and she hoped to be treated on the same exact way.

“First of all, you said you appeared in this world, right? Do you know how or why?” She was careful to not offer help just yet though, she knew that sometimes helping not only can make things more troublesome than they already were, but also that sometimes helping could be extremely risky and though she was more than willing to risk her fur…uh…skin for others she needed to know if things were hopeless or if they were taking the wrong approach to it. If that was the case she would obviously try to dissuade them or at least try to make them understand the situation and try to help them to take the right path before even trying to actually help with the quest itself.

"Shoot! I have nothing to hide." While he said that he would soon come to regret those words. What would she ask though, he believed it to be about the four mystical beasts, they are interesting after all. Or maybe he was being conceited, maybe she wanted advice just as he had, earlier.

"That is.." he looked down for a few seconds, wait, he can answer that, that answer doesn't tell about the sleeping Phoenix "I know both the answers or I think I know.". He needed to say it from the beginning "I was assembled In a different world and time line, when people found out that I was different I needed to meet the four mystical beasts and do a task for each of them. When I came to the Phoenix it sent me here, I assume my task lies here somewhere.". This was the short and compressed story or else he would need more time if he was to detail out everything.

Hm, so he was in this timeline searching for a task that he had to complete. It sounded quite hard to not say the least, and not the task itself, but find it without actually having a clue of what he was supposed to do “The phoenix told you anything before he sent you here?” She wasn’t the best one solving riddles or picking the meaning behind the words, bt she still could give it a shot if Tao was comfortable with it.

“It’s funny, you know? You are searching for a task while you’re here, so you can complete it. I’m searching for my own path, the true reason of why I’m alive and how I fit in this world” She knew that if she was talking with another bjartskular he would tell her immediately that said place was as a princess and future queen and she was way too fed up with that by now. This is why she thought that talking about that with Tao would be a lot better, as they could loosely relate each other and could actually help each other to reach their own goas.

No, the phoenix hadn't told him anything, it had merged with his spirit and taken him to this place. He was still awaiting news of his task, these where all things which he didn't want to speak of though he felt as if he could speak of it to her, not that he would say it out straight.

"No, the phoenix didn't tell me anything." He always told the truth though whether or not he said everything was another story all together. He had earlier stated that the phoenix brought him here, so that part wasn't or shouldn't be a mystery. While he had given the hint it shouldn't be easy to pick up on since the whole thing would seem far fetched in other cases.

Argya nodded, if the Phoenix never told him anything, and apparently neither gave out hints with its actions, finding out about Tao’s task would be fairly hard. She stood silent for a couple of minutes, deep in thought. Her knowledge about phoenixes was a bit limited, she only knew that they were beautiful benevolent birds that were reborn from their ashes after they died, but she wasn’t sure if this symbolism had anything to do with Tao’s task.

“Well…this is actually really tricky…but…” She took a deep breath, she wasn’t exactly sure of the situation in which she was getting into, and that obviously was making her nervous. Yet, this guy…she wasn’t sure of what he had, but she felt dragged to help him even under these ambiguous circumstances “If you want to, I can help you to find out why you’re here” Even if it sounded fairly casual, for Argya, these words meant a promise, and she wouldn’t break a promise.

"I'd like that, thank you." With this he would be able to see her again and probably be able to have a good chat with her though he felt that the two had been talking about him for a long while now and was curious to hear more about Argya. "What about you, you have anything in mind that you would discuss about?" He also wanted to know more about her, where she came from, well besides her home mountain, besides she knew basically everything about Tao except the sleeping phoenix and some details here and there but telling her all the details would only make them talk into eternity and not get anywhere.

What about her species, family and friends, he was really interested in how she could transform into forms similar to the four mystical beasts but how would he ask without upsetting or angering her. While it was the the thought of the four mystical beast that had interested him in her it had been her that he had become interested in with their discussion however if her forms where not derived form the four mystical beasts then how did her species came to be.
