Holding on tight to Lonan's wrist, Rhu didn't quite run out the door and down the hallway. He wasn't ambling, though, since the hallway was too occupied for him to willingly stop and thus unsuitable for wasting time. It wasn't too far to an elevator, though, and it was even empty when it opened for them with a standard ding.

Rhu stabbed the 'close' button with a finger a few times once they were in, even before trying to figure out which button would take them the closest to the exit. He hadn't spent much time in the hospital.

He leaned against Lonan when he finally found the 'Lobby' button, and pushed it. "Well, looks like we escaped from them," he said cheerfully, looking up a bit at the pooka. "Now, just as long as no one else wants this-"

Ding. The elevator came to a stop and a nurse with some paperwork stepped in. Elevators in hospitals might be plenty big for three dudes, but that didn't get rid of the faint awkwardness.

"...elevator..."

There was a frown on Lonan's face as he was dragged down the hallway. He kept glancing back at the room they had been shooed out of. He hated being told to leave. So what if someone else's hospital room was an "improper" place to make out with someone? He did his business in front yards. He didn't give a damn about public decency.

Lonan huffed angrily. He wanted to stomp back down the hallway and break down the door, and he would've if the cute little sheep wasn't stopping him. At least someone was giving him attention. That was enough of a reason to stay in his human form, but it didn't stop him from pouting.

He scowled even more when the elevator opened. He wasn't really a fan of these contraptions, but he got inside it without a fuss. At least they wouldn't be in it long. He finally looked down at Rhu when he spoke. He thought the other boy sounded far too happy.

"We didn't escape! Ye got me kicked out!" he replied grumpily, ignoring the person who just got on. "Ye owe me at least a kiss now. And it had better be a damn good one!"

Lonan glared at him, and hoped to hell and back that the warmth he felt on his face wasn't a blush. He wanted to be big and scary.

Lonan was being so adorable, but Rhu had to stay on track and not just stop and kiss him right there. Right? Right.

Well, maaaaaybe - no. Nope. He was a responsible Adult and there would be so much more interruption if they gave in now. Or maybe...

Ahem. It was going to be very hard to continue this masquerade of maturity if Lonan weren't willing to support the façade. He glanced sidelong at the nurse.... and back at Lonan...

The nurse got out on the next floor, and Rhu immediately put his back to the door. "If a good kiss is the price for getting us kicked out, I should have done it earlier," he teased. "Come on, tough guy. I don't think we have too many floors to spare." He reached around Lonan to wrap his fingers around the back of his neck, pulling him down that little bit he needed to press his lips against Lonan's and fitting the tips of his horns carefully around the pooka's face. He moved his mouth gently, lips slightly parted, and left it to Lonan to break away for air.

The grumpy pooka glanced up when the nurse left, only to find himself being dragged closer to the door. He looked down at Rhu again. He was surprisingly forceful for a small-ish fluffy thing. Lonan enjoyed it, but it was also embarrassing, especially since he was a sheep. He obviously wasn't a normal sheep, but it was close enough to make Lonan feel pathetic. This really should've been happening the other way around.

When he got called a tough guy, he knew he was definitely blushing.

As Rhu's hands settled behind his neck, Lonan's ears turned out to the side. They couldn't decide if they wanted to perk forward with excitement, or flatten from how embarrassed he was, so they just hung there, displaying his indecisiveness for all to see. He was thankful that, at least this time, all was only the sheep. There was no one snickering to themselves. There was no one calling him a dork. It was just him, and the sheep, and the sheep's quickly approaching lips.

Lonan's eyes widened for a split second, and then closed when their lips met. He hesitantly returned the kiss. He was actually very eager to, but he still felt like a huge dork, even without anyone pointing it out, and it made him nervous.

His fingers twitched as he tried to decide what to do with his hands. He wanted to touch Rhu. Just leaving his hands down at his sides was weird, right? It felt weird, plus it always got him laughed at. He lifted his hands a little. This felt weird, too! His ears fully flattened as he placed one hand on Rhu's hip, and the other on his cheek.

Ha! He did it. His tail wagged a little.

Lonan was very proud of himself, but now he needed to actually breathe. He pulled his head back, but not very far. He refused to look Rhu in the eyes since he knew his face was bright red.

Rhu's ears flicked a little higher at the hesitation in Lonan's. It was unusual and pleasant to be with someone with similarly mobile ears, and the awkwardness was absolutely and totally adorable.

He smiled when he felt Lonan's hands on his body, comfortable warmth. He stayed close when air filtered in between their lips, and slowly stroked along the back of Lonan's neck with a few fingers.

"Is the debt paid, or did I take long enough to build some interest?" he said slyly, freeing his other hand to brush Lonan's cheek lightly. "If so, you may want to hold off on taking payment until we're at least out of the hospital?" Lonan was, after all, the tough guy who ought to lead, if only for practice. Rhu was content regardless.

The fingers stroking Lonan's neck felt nice and calming. All thoughts of storming back into the hospital room were gone now. His ears even perked up again. He would've been happy to just stay there in the elevator, if it wasn't a big metal box.

When a hand moved to his cheek, Lonan's heart sped up. His ears nervously drooped to the side again, but not for long. The way Rhu worded his second question made the pooka grin. He liked taking things, and he was very interested in doing more with Rhu. Now he just needed to say so.

"I, em..." he mumbled. This was harder than he thought it should be. He tightened his grip on Rhu's hip. "I suppose I could wait until we left," he said, finally forming an actual sentence as the doors opened with another ding.

In the hallway was a woman with two young children waiting to get on. She cleared her throat when the boys didn't seem to be moving. Lonan backed away from Rhu, but grabbed his wrist now as he exited the elevator. As he walked towards the entrance, it became more apparent that he was clinging to Rhu rather than leading him.

Rhu smiled faintly to see Lonan settling down, and was even more pleased to see his reaction to the offer of at least apparent dominance. And his awkwardness. Well, Rhu was happy to help him practice.

He cast a glance over his shoulder to see who was at the door. Ooooh kids-

not the right time to get distracted. He had mature(ish) fluffiness to nurture right now. Or follow, or whatever it was he was doing, with his wrist in Lonan's grip. Ah, there was the exit. Lonan's guidance began to falter, though, even with the next doors in sight, and Rhu smoothly shifted to walk beside him. That way Lonan still wasn't behind him, left to follow, but could take clues about where they were going.

Rhu headed out through the inner sliding doors, flattening his ears briefly against the rush of filtered air between the two sets, and quickly tried to remember where exactly the hospital was relative to his house; it wasn't a frequent place for him to visit, though as a lifelong resident of the town he certainly knew where it was.

First, though, since it was pretty quiet just outside these doors. Rhu twisted over to plant a quick kiss on Lonan's cheek. "My place is a couple of blocks away and otherwise unoccupied," he offered cheerily.

Lonan glanced at Rhu when he stepped beside him. He thought the other boy was going to walk in front of him now, so he was surprised when Rhu didn't. The sheep-boy just stayed there, right next to him. Lonan soon realized that he was subtly being guided.

So much for being big and scary.

He didn't really mind, though. Walking next to Rhu at least wasn't embarrassing, and it kept him relatively calm until they got outside.

Now he wasn't sure what to do. When he felt Rhu's lips on his cheek, he smiled. He would've blushed if he wasn't already, especially when Rhu mentioned going to his home. That meant they were actually going to have sex, right? Right? This wasn't a joke?

He stared at Rhu with his brow furrowed skeptically. Lonan would be happy even if they just kissed more, but he was waiting for Rhu to laugh or change his mind. Just the idea of getting laughed at by a sheep annoyed him. His ears flicked backward. He took a deep breath, and told himself that he wanted to kiss Rhu again, not trample him. "...I would like that," he said when he realized he had pretty much just been glaring at the other boy for the past few seconds.

Rhu did his best to hide his inner uncertainty at Lonan's expression. It seemed to be more leakage than directed, so for the time being he would keep from drawing attention to it. Lonan had shown that he was interested, but was conflicted in some way. Rhu mostly saw it in undersocialized dominant dogs... which might not be too far off Lonan, given the range of forms he could take.

He still had a few notches to relax by the time Lonan finally eased up a bit and replied. He kept himself as casual as he could, though, and smiled with more ease than he felt. He'd keep things as simple for Lonan as he could, at least for now. Simplicity was less intimidating.

"Let's go then, shall we?" He stretched for another little kiss, trailing his free fingers down the side of Lonan's neck reassuringly (and only a little bit like asking permission), and then gestured down the street. "Three blocks this way, and then a left." He tugged playfully at Lonan's arm, not forcing him to follow but rather asking him to allow them to continue onwards.

Lonan was glad that Rhu kept smiling. He hadn't meant to glare at the sheep; he was just very temperamental. He probably should have felt bad about it, but the slight discomfort he noticed amused him instead. He always thought it was funny when other people were scared.

He was starting to calm down when Rhu kissed him, and sped the process along. It made Lonan smile and relax again. It also reminded him that someone was actually offering to sleep with him, so when Rhu tugged on his arm, he started walking. Now that he was confident Rhu wasn't just messing with him, he was more than willing to follow him home.

He was glad Rhu lived closed by. He didn't want to wait long enough to walk all the way to the dorms, and something definitely would've pissed him off on the way. A few blocks was about all he had patience for.
